Who do you think will win the UK general election 2010?

  • Total voters
    95
  • Poll closed .
ok lets get back on topic it's my fault we have moved onto the BNP case. lets forget about it now the majority of us don't agree with the BNP and think they are racist and two people belive in the BNP.

and Scott i was using my dad as an example.

OK now drop the BNP case

BNP will never get into power if they do we are all going to be kicked out except the white britains. and for real that will never happen!

Oh yeah i was on the bus and saw this conservatives poster

Yes they did.

Personally, it just feels a really childish way to do things.

There are some of those near where i live.XD

:$ Bit gay that campaigning seems to consist of focusing on how **** the opposition are and not your own policies.

isn't this ironic on this thread

Look at the advert at the top of the picture. Its from the LibDems. Its ironic it came up on the thread about elections. Is Sean trying to persuade us to vote for LibDems?

Ironic that a majority of people on here are probably still at school and not even elegible to vote. Lib dems trying to get them young.

yeah i've stil got three years to go. dreading the day i have too vote. what if i everything depends on my vote? Don't follow poitics anyways

:P I don't think you are racist.

Errr, to get this back on topic. Can anyone explain to me what a hung parliament is?:$ I have heard about them and know it's something to do with no one having a majority.:$

I also heard it would be the best thing that could happen for the lib dems, on the radio.:$

A hung parliament occurs when no single party earns over 50% of the seats in the country. In the UK this would mean that if Labour or the Conservatives fail to get 326/650 seats then Gordon Brown will remain as Prime Minister. He will have the authority to rule but if he is unable to pass key laws then the opposition will be given a chance to rule instead. However if Gordon Brown can convince Nick Clegg to form a government with labour to get a majority then the conservatives will be left high and dry. However the opposite could also occur and the could be a Conservative/Lib Dem government.

Nobody has to vote in this country.

The ads take the content of the page into account to make it more relevant.

I went for a conservative majority.

If people don't vote, their vote goes to Labour. Get out and vote. I think Britain is ready for a change.

isn't it i saw on the news (bbc) they went to westminister and they where voting throughout the whole week about money and stuff and its between three parties

I think for me i wont vote. becuase in my area. there is a massive conservative majority.( not saying thats bad or good) so i see my vote as pointless becuase they are going to win this seat, no matter what.

the campaign started this week.

Stuff the parties, we should get Jeremy Clarkson, Simon Cowell and Gordon Ramsey to run the country. Then blimmin' 'eck we'll have a decent country cause they will not give no ****.

i was going to vote tory but after reading some of the statistics i am seriously thinking of voting bnp.

since 1997 1 million + jobs have been created in britain

98.5% have went to immigrants

immigration is a major issue in the election and the bnp are the only party with a immegration plan

tory's dont really have an effective plan and labour dont have one at all

that and generelly labour is becoming socialist so bnp is the way forward

Agreed

The massive problem with the election is, people vote for who, for instance, their parents vote for and stuff like that. What i suggest is, look at all the parties policies and choose the party which appeals to you most. BNP will say that of all the jobs created went to immigrants, but ask yourself this, if you were employing someone, would you pick a british guy who wants £7ph who's in a union or a polish bloke who gets £6ph who isn't in a union?
