What Roles and Duty's best suit my players?

I'm using JP Woody V3 and my 3 strikers are Pato, Berbatov, Rooney but I feel like they aren't giving everything they can so need some help on what's the best way to use those 3.

Dame N'Doye
How should I play them, they have been inconsistent.

Alexandre Pato - Advanced Foward/ Poacher
Wayne Rooney - Advancede Foward
Dimitar Berbatov - Trequartista/ Deep Lying Foward

Adriano is currently an advanced Foward and Borriello an Deep Lying Foward .

try borriello as a target man - support and adriano as a poacher
 
I play for Empoli second season with the tactics of 4-1-3-2
KF (Stancu) - CF (Mchedlidze)
AML (Buonanotte) - CM (D. Moro) - AMR (F. Lodi)
DM (Annan)
LB-CB - CB - RB
I use Stancu as forward, attacking from the bottom (support) and Mchedlidze as a universal forward. I have tried the latter as targetman and speed, but he does not play a second season above 6.50.
 
I know most of your questions are for the top players on the game but how about a narrow forward threee of Joe Anyinsah, Liam Buchanan and Febian Brandy for my Lincoln team?

Im looking to Aguero for my United game...Rooney is up top on his own and looking to play Aguero as AMC behind Rooney....but wat role should he play?

hi my tactics are based on jp 4231 tactic, just altered a few player positions, just came on here to see if anyone has any more input thanks

i play
evra - fb auto
brown- fb auto
vidic -limited defender stopper
ferdinand - limited defender cover
moussa sissoko- box to box midfielder support
fletcher - ball winning support
tosic- inside forward support
gourcuff- advanced playmaker support (playmaker)
valencia- winger support
rooney- poacher

i hope my screenies worked, thanks for any advice

One of Sissoko and Fletcher needs to be on defend.
Valencia and Tosic to attack.
Rooney to support.
 
you cant have a support poacher, also dont think i would change rooney as in last 2 seasons has scored around 70+ premiership goals, i did change fletcher to defend and the others to attack tho, but changed tosic bk to a winger, seems to do better, thanks for the advice

What I mean is that a lone striker should be on support, not a poacher, the problem with lone strikers on attack is that they're isolated. Either a target man or a deep lying forward, I think Rooney would make a good DLF, his teamwork and work-rate are high which means he'll be a machine as a DLF.

Just an idea though.
