Wahey! Well played Wolverhampton Wanderers. Who would have thought it, the team to finally end United's frankly brilliant unbeaten run. Wolves were exceptional today, and thoroughly deserved all three points. The whole team came together, and were the better side, a brilliant day of Wolves' history, one of the best Wolves games I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot.
George Elokobi. What a game this lad had today. Personally, I have never rated him, but today he gave everything to the Wolves cause today. He made every ball, made some fantastic tackles, and despite his stature, didn't look tired at all throughout the game. Wolves' man of the match for me, well played big George.
United will definitely complain about the ref and Fergie will have a fit on SSN tonight. The fact of the matter is, every side has bad ref games, and it doesn't happen to United often, we've been the fall of some frankly terrible reffing over the years I've been a Wolves fan. Look, the penalty was a handball, and the O'Hara tackle was a red, but yet it was kept quiet about Giggs deliberate trip on Doyle in the last minutes of the game.
The ref clearly had a bad game, but that shouldn't be an excuse for United today. They weren't as good as they have been in games this season. But Wolves really turned it on for the partisan crowd tonight, and it was a brilliant game to watch. The lads should be proud of themselves, and even, even if we do get relegated, people will be upset, but personally, I'd have this win over avoiding relegation if I had the choice. Hopefully, it's a choice I won't have to make, and we can build on this victory, and possibly get a result at Arsenal and at home to West Brom. Things look good for us, well played Wolverhampton Wanderers
