Look at Juventus under Conte, the 352 with central midfielder (pirlo) dropped deep. it gives great cover for your defence and wing backs can function just as well as wingers in a slower build up game.

your team now has a better reputation since you're doing well, rep's change around new yrs so the opposition are sitting back more against you so you need to play even better to break them down, and also play better defensively to avoid their counter attacks.
aah, yeah a loan makes sense, it would just be interesting to know if I could plan ahead and save up for a 2nd new stadium if the first one I get has a max cap at 30-40k, but I'm probably getting ahead of myself.

yes, that's what I'm trying to say: I think you have to buy it before being able to expand it.
So if it can only be expanded to around 16,5k I really wouldn't want to buy it, but rather just build a new one straight away!

Can I ask you approximately how much you paid for the new stadium? It seems to me Bournemouth doesnt own Vitality either, so you'd have to buy it before being able to expand it?
New years is when the team status in the league changes, so where the opposition have been attacking you more freely previously they are now closing up shop more making it harder for you to score.

I've been thinking about starting a save with Bournemouth, spending the PL TV-money on building a huge stadium and of course youth facilities,
but then I remembered on an older version of FM the City council of Newcastle refused me to increase the stadium capacity to more than around 60k or so...
Reputation used to decide which teams got promoted from leagues under your playable ones, that's why B-teams so rarely get promoted. Pretty sure it still works in the same way, havent heard of any changes.

As the title says, we only have senior squad and u19 squad in the first season,
some teams have B-teams/2nd teams, but I'm pretty sure there is a u23 league in germany.
