Ipswich 4-1 Southampton
Camacho
A totally devistating result. This run of form is even more dissapointing as we seemend to be just a few players away from being a leauge winning team and we fall to pieces

Southampton 4-1 Club Brugge - Champions Leauge Match day 1
camacho 2, Vagner Love 2
A good second half after a awful first half led by Vagner love

Southampton 1-1 Leeds
Hazard
Another late goal goes against us as our horrific start to the season goes on

Milwall 0-4 Southampton - Leauge cup 2nd round
Milenkovic, Parker, Rodwell, Welliton
Think the reserves would be a suitable option more oftain if this is the results we get

Southampton 2-1 Newcastle
Love, dzeko
Our lead strikers finally combined to just about get enough to win the game, our first win in 4

September month review - Still not hitting tog gear, especially up front where the forwards are very hit and miss and the defense have been mostly a miss
View attachment 70884

Player of the month - Vagner love made his tryumphant return from injury to win us our fist game in the champions leauge. Will need his form from last season to appear if were to make a move up the table
View attachment 70885

Zenit 0-5 Southampton - Champions leauge match day 2
Fletcher, Gourcuff, Hazard, Love, Welliton
A simple win but i presume its more down to Zenit being rubbish than our boys clicking

Aston Villa 2-1 Southampton
Dzeko
Very dissapointing result. Played poorly and were again out of luck as VAgner love was first disaloud a last minute winner then was carried off injured.

Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Were the better team but not by much as we have yet another horrific result and performance

Southampton 1-3 Bayern Munich - Champions leauge match day 3
Welliton
Turned out to be a easy win for Bayern as we had no answer to them

Southampton 2-3 Liverpool
Love 2
A force more powerful than VAgner love, Fernando Torres gave livepool the win

Sheffield Utd 2-1 Southampton - LEauge cup 4th Round
Camacho
Another game another awful defeat although with the squad reeling i felt we had to rest players here to try and get some results in november

October month review - Destroyed Zenit but after that our form just got worse. Need to get on a run seriously quick to have any chance this season. If we can get going soon we still have a chance as were only 12 points behind with 28 games left
View attachment 71165

Player of the month - Not this month

Fulham 1-1 Southampton
Dzeko
A hard fought point as we still fail to put in a decent performance

Bayern Munich 2-1 Southampton - Champions Leauge match day 4
Dzeko
Another point dropped because of a stoppage time goal. However this seasons new found trick is to have last minute Vagner Love goals dissalowed and today was no different

Southampton 0-1 Man City
First time in a while we've been far the better team and deserved the win but our march down the table continues

Arsenal 2-1 Southampton
Gourcuff
Like Man City looks like were on the right track just need to start getting the results we need

Southampton 1-0 West Ham
Dzeko
It was close but finally we get our first win in 7 games

Club Brugge 1-4 Southampton - Champions leauge match day 5
Love, Welliton 3
Looked like another tight game untill we brought Wellion off the bench to secure our passage to the last 16

Southampton 3-0 Burnley
Camacho 2, Vidic
Dominated the whole game but didnt get the goals till the second half

November month review - During the Champions leauge tie with Bayern Munich we began to play alot better. Couldnt convert the chances against Arsenal and man city but the right results seem to be coming back, slowly
View attachment 71188

Player of the month - Dzeko has been knocking in the goals since we started playing better and if he can lead us back into a good run he'll be much loved in town of Southampton
View attachment 71187

Southampton 2-1 Zenit
Welliton, Love, Lambert
Played a back up team to give the first teamers a break in this unimportaint game and they pulled off a desired result

Southampton - Sunderland
Camacho 3, Zapata, Fletcher
The win was never in doubt after sunderland went down to 10 then 9 men

Birmingham 2-1 Southampton
Dzeko
Despite being the better team we couldnt hit the net today and our winning run is over already!

Southampton 3-1 Everton
Gourcuff, Camacho, Dzeko
A Far more convicing display against a mid table everton team. two tricky games against Chelsea and Man Utd soon too test how far we've come

Southampton 2-1 Chelsea
Dzeko, Love
This was in my view a massive game to see where we are at the moment and beating title challangers chelsea is just the way to do it

Sheffield Utd 1-3 Southampton
Love 3
What a way to celibrate new years eve. After struggling to get back into the first team after Camacho's form at the start of the season but the last few games has seen a return to form

In the last 16 for the champions leauge we drew Inter Milan meaning we must all find form before the last 16 game
View attachment 71225

December month review - Overall we have seen a gradual return to the from of last season thankfully
View attachment 71225

Player of the month - Vagner love has leaped back into the starting 11 after a fantastic run of form and goals so he's our winner this month

Southampton 2-1 Doncaster - Fa Cup 3rd round
Welliton, Eyre
A easy win made easyer by DOncaster going down to 10 men in the opening exchanges

Man Utd 3-2 Southampton
Love, Marchisio
Lead this match twice and still managed to throw it away. We stil have alot of work to do to get back on track

Southampton 1-0 Tottenham
Dzeko
A close game against a team failing to perform even worse than ourselfs

Stoke 0-4 Southampton
Dzeko 3, Gourcuff
One of the easyer victorys of the season, especially with Dzeko on hot form

Southampton 2-1 Blackburn - Fa Cup 4th Round
Dzeko 2
Played almost a entire back up team except for Dzeko and Beck at right back. No need to tell you who won me the game

Southampton 0-0 Ipswich
Defense is starting to shape up but we were disaserous up front today

Leeds 0-2 Southampton
Dzeko, Love
Scored our goals early then rode out the rest of the match for the 3 points

Made 1 major signing in the trasfer window.
Was having a quick look for youth player and stumbled across Akinfeev, who had been relised from CSKA so have snapped him up on a free.

January month review - Form contunes to get better with another decent run of results keep us in touch with the teams challanging for europe
View attachment 71277

Player of the month - No contest Edin Dzeko ripped the leauge apart this month so hes our winner
View attachment 71276

Southampton 1-1 Wolves
Marchisio
Another game where our attacking players failed to supply or score the goals we need just now

Everton 1-1 Southampton - FA Cup 5ht round
Lambert
Played a team that was a bit too weak to guarrentee progression to the quarter finals so we'll have to do it all again

Newcastle 2-3 Southampton
Love, Camacho 2
A similar kind of match last season against newcastle went the other way and was the begining of our downfall. Hopfully this is to have a oposite effect

Southampton 4-2 Inter Milan - Champions leauge last 16
Love, Dzeko 3
A better than expected perfromance saw us win convincingly but hopfully we wont regret the two away goals we've conceded

Liverpool 2-1 Southampton
Dzeko
Another stoppage time goal robs us of vital points in a close match where we deserved more

Febuary month review - Remained undefeated but didnt hit top form as i was hoping. At least we have a good chance of progressing in europe
View attachment 71368

Player of the month - Dzeko wins it mainly for his hattrick against Inter Milan
View attachment 71367

Just read it through, fantastic story. Hope you do well good luck I am following ! :D

Southampton 3-1 Everton - FA Cup 5th round replay
Wellinton, Forren, Camacho
Back up players progress with little problems against everton

Leeds 1-0 Southampton - FA Cu 6th round
One game to many for the back up boys although they put in a good effort to get this far

Sothampton 4-0 Fulham
Gourcuff 3, Dzeko
Fulham proved to be a walkover and hopfully a good warm up to the Inter Milan game

Inter 2-2 Southampton
Hazard, Gourcuff
Decided we had to go defensive with a 2 goal lead and the tactic payed off as we were able to get a 2-2 draw from the match and are deservadly through to the last 8
AGG 6-4 Southampton

Quarter Final draw was very favrouble to us as we drew Betis

Man City 2-2 Southampton
Love, Camacho
A decent result against City after the Champions leauge game

Betis 1-1 Southampton - Champions Leauge Q Finals
Camacho
A match we certainly should have won but were still well set up for the second leg with the away goals

March month review - A decent month where we had no catastrophic results and progressed from a tricky CHampions leauge tie
View attachment 72556

Player of the month - This month Gourcuff discovered his shooting boots to get a hattrick against fulham then grabbed the goal that secured our trip to the quarter finals
View attachment 72557

I'm kinda embarassed now only commenter in the whole page XD Still fantastic story and some fantastic results there. Southhampton to draw 2-2 with Inter is fantastic.

But a little bit of critics there you should change the layout, it's bit of boring. Bring more pictures and colors in it.

Nice story otherwise !

Cheers for the advice. Wont be doing anymore tonight but will look into it next time im posting.

Always keen to impress my no1 fan :)

April Month Review
Our best month of the season so far both Domesticly and in Europe. Stunned to reach the final although if we win it will probably be the easyest run to the trophy ever. Were still in a very poor position in the leauge but hopfully we can move up the table and go on a run of good results now we just have 1 european game to look forward to.
View attachment 72728

Can anyone out there say they've had a easyer run than

last 16 - Inter
Q final - Betis
Semi - Marsille
Final - Lyon

April - Player of the month
No single player performed as well as Beck over the whole month. Played a extra game due to injurys with our back up defenders.
View attachment 72726View attachment 72727

Southampton 2-4 Arsenal
Welliton, Camacho
Played a entire back up 11 with the champions leauge match coming up so will let them off with this result

Southampton 1-0 Betis - Champions leauge Q Finals 2nd Leg
Lallana
Should hav won this match by alot more goals but 1-0 was enough for us to progress to the semi finals
View attachment 72723

The semi final draw left us with Juventus, Lyon and Marsilles abd again we got the most favourible draw with Marsilles between us and the final

West Ham 1-2 Southampton
Hazard, Dzeko
Match a much needed win although a late strike gave us a worrying last 10 minutes

Burnley 1-1 Southampton
Beck
Slightly dissapointed to only get a point but it was mainly back up players who played here with the champions leauge in 3 days time

Southampton 3-0 Marsille - Champiions leauge Semifinals 1st leg
Dzeko, Love 2
One foot Firmly into the final with a dominating win against Marsilles. Vagner love lead us to this win as he's done so many times before

Southampton 4-2 Sheffield Utd
Camacho, Welliton, Milenkovic, Lambert
The back up team with Baines and Vidic who are banned for the second leg got a run out and put in there best performance so far this season

Marsille 0-1 Southampton - Champions leauge semifinals 2nd leg
Hazard
Played a mix of seniors and youths and they all put out a terrific display to take us to the final of the champions leauge where we'll play Lyon at Anfield
agg 4-0 SOUTHAMPTON
View attachment 72724View attachment 72725

Hope you all like the the new layout. Any other tips and advice or general comments are more than welcome

May month review
Premiership season ended in dissapointing fashion with a defeat to eveton who summed up our season as a whole. Next season though we will hopfully be giving 100% focus to winning the leauge if we can beat Lyon in the champions leauge final
View attachment 72744View attachment 72741

Player of the month - Dzeko
Dzeko's hattrick against Sunderland and goal against Birmingham saw him secure his place as top scorer for our team this season
View attachment 72742

Sunderland 3-5 Southampton
Dzeko 3, Gourcuff, Marchisio
A match that was well under control as we were 3-0 up until sunderland ended the first half on fire with 3 goals in 7 minutes. Dzeko took the ball strieght up the park and pulled us back infront right on the halftime whistle. In the second half calmed down and our superiour team ground out another goal to secure the 3 points
View attachment 72743

Southampton 0-0 Aston Villa
A boaring draw. Players were knackered and it was the traditions euro hangover performance

Southampton 3-0 Birmingham
Love, Dzeko, Marchisio
The penultimate match of the season saw a easy win. With the champions leauge final only 6 days after the final leauge game we will be resting the 11 starting players for our trip to Everton

Everton 4-2 Southampton
Camacho, Welliton
Everton stormed to a 4-0 lead in just over half a hour as we the youth players put in a terrible performance to round out a dissapointing premiership campaign

The Champions leauge Final is up next

The European Champions Leauge Final 2015

This is the trophy all Southampton fans hope there players can deliver in Satardays big final. This is undobtfully the biggest match in the history of Southamptons existance and of there manager Darran Donald who was quietly confident of his side having the quailty to beat there french opposition to take there place in immortality.

Hopfully we can use our almost home advantage to defy the bookies and win the cup

THE FINAL

Southampton 3-1 Lyon
Dzeko, Hazard, Gourcuff

The Champions leauge Cup is ours. Started of strongly and got our reward in the 21st minute through our lead scorer Dzeko. the match began to level out and Lyon got a equaliser which we managed to cancel our well into stoppage time with Hazard scoring on the 48th minute of the 1st half. Into the second half and the match flew passed as both teams battled for possesion to make chances. Towards the end Lyon went for it and in the 94th minute southampton Counterd and got the 3rd and decisive goal through Gourcuff which secured the biggest price in club football.

Southampton the big winners at Champions leauge awards

Champions Leauge Top scorer
Vagner love and Neymar share this award with Neymar recieving it for having played fewer games
View attachment 72768

Champions leauge Top player
This time Vagner Love was not to be denyed an award as he scooped the best player award

Great story, and well done on the Champions League win.

Season 6 2014/2015 Season review

Premiership - 7th
Would have taken this last season but after finishing just behind Man City in second place last year this was a huge dissapointment. Werent playing well until the end of december and never really hit top form all season though.

Carling Cup
Knocked out in the 4th round by fellow premiership team Sheffield Utd although as usuall we werent playing a strong team and were definantly out of form. Next season might be different

FA Cup
Got through to the 6th round which was well abouve what i expected from my back up players but two games in 3 days caught up with them and we went out

Champions leauge
Qualifyed for the knockout phases despite not being in great form our group was quite simple with only Bayern Munich offering any challange . Last 16 was our final tricky challange with Inter Milan who we managed to disspose of with a terrific 4-2 home win against Inter. The remaining games offered little challange and through hard work and a very very fortunate draw we won the European Cup

Player of the season

1st - Vagner love
With the champions leauge being our main focus after a poor start in the leauge his performances and goals were crucial in taking us to the promised land

2nd - Edin Dzeko
Was our leauges top scorer this term but like the team as a whole he misfired through the first half of the season but his form in the 2nd half of the season was key in getting us to the top half

3rd - Cristian Zapata
Settled in very well last season and continued to put in regular performances well above the standard of the other defenders. This season it was enough to be our best player outside our strikeforce

Season overview - After making 4 changes to my best starting 11 combined with a poor end to the previous season combined to give us a horrible run from August to december. Our form slowly changed over january and into Febuary pulled us from the lower half of the midtable to the european places. Winning the CHampions leauge was a very good way to make up for our poor leauge form and is a huge accomplishment for southamton.

Overview
Premiership - 7th
Champions Leauge - Winners
FA Cup - 6th Round
Carling Cup - 4th Round

After a mixed bag of form through the season how did the newbies in the squad fit into winning the champions leauge

Claudio Marchisio - Started off with some dodgy performances and was then injured for 3 months but slowly began to come into some form as the season went on. Hopfully will continue to progress next term

Javier Pastore - Had a great first season in england, Missed two months at the end of the season however good form all season and arriving on a free makes him look a awsome addition

Nemanja Vidic - Wasnt bad, got a 7.00 overall however he's clearly now too old to be a good partner for Zapata and will hopfully leave in the summer

Roger Camacho - Made a good start to his Southampton carear with 15 goals mainly from sub appearances. LOoks like he'll be a superstar of the future

Edin Hazard - After destroying the transfer recond for him his performances in the leauge were mixed. However in europe he was awsome getting a 8.23 and played a huge roll in winning the CHampions LEauge. Will be worth the money if he can take that form to the leauge next season

Jack Rodwell - Was back for the rest of our center midfielders played well when called upon but is a clear 4th choice for midfield

Igor Akinfeev - Arrived on a free in January and will look at him after a full season as no1 before i judge him.

Season 7 - 2015/2016

Very similar squad and now that i've accomplished everything in Europe the Premiership is the final major obstical i have to overcome in English football so that where im putting all my efforts this season

Targets
Premiership - 1st
FA Cup - Last 16
Carling Cup - Semi Finals
Champions Leauge - Knockout Stages

Main signings
Carson - Needed a back up keeper and english players so with his contract expiring at West Brom he was a perfect addition
View attachment 73026

Evans - With Vidic not quite working out i had a big search for center backs and Evans was the only selected defender that wasnt going to cost £100+
View attachment 73028

Aguero - Aguero on the other hand has cost almost £100m but having seen him in other games before i fully expect him to take the mantle of my main striker and run with it
View attachment 73025

Mattlock + Chica - Chica and Mattlock will be my back up defenders with Wes Brown getting old and Forren Being rubbish making way
View attachment 73027View attachment 73029

Hilbert and Dann Will provide further back up to the first team while Vidal, Alves, Bartley and
Vela were all picked up on free's and loaned out to be sold next summer

Main Player sales

Alfaro - Was rubbish for me never got close to a 7 raiting in any game he played so getting almost £5m for him was awsome buisness

Lallana - Was a very hard decision to sell my last remaining origional Soton player but we were one midfielder too heavy so decided the £7m for a fully developed Lallana was good buisness

Vidic - Having just turned 33 and not had a great season the near £12m leeds were willing to pay was very quickly accepted

Benaglio - Due to Akinfeev's availability on a free his plac as number 1 was taken and he's far too good to sit on the bench

Vagner Love - Last and certinly not least is southampton legand Vagner Love. Was incredibly hard to part way with Vagner Love after all he's done for the club, Joining us streight from the championship to be our top scorer in every season up till last one, where he still was the star of our amazing champions leauge run. However one of our strikers had to ake way with Aguero coming in and i took the impossible decision to sell 31 year old Vagner Love and after a tearful goodbye he's off to Udinese to dominate Seria A

All other transfers

August

August month review - A very impressive start to the season with the only black mark So far being a defeat in a close game at anfield which could have gone either way

Player of the month - Camacho scored in every game except for the Anfield defeat and has proven himself worthy of leading the frontline with Aguero. Also must give a big shout out to Cristian Zapata who won the leauges player of the month

Leeds 1-4 Southampton
Camacho 2, Dzeko, Evans
A dominating first match. Had a very good feeling about this first game of the season. Could be the start of something quite beautiful

Liverpool 2-1 Southampton
Zapata
Argh a good performance, We were well worth a point and only a late goal from liverpool gave them the 3 points

Southampton 4-0 Blackburn
Camacho, Dzeko 2, Milenkovic
Was a tricky affair until we got into the second half where Blackburn tired and we pushed on and picked up a easy win

European Super Cup Final 2015

Southampton make the trip to Monaco for there second European super cup final as heavy favourites to beat portugesee Europa Leauge winners Sporting lisbon. Southampton will be looking to match there performance 2 seasons ago where they managed to beat Man City in a battle that lead to a season long War for the Premiership title

Southampton 3-0 Sporting Lisbon
Aguero, Camacho 2
A streight forward win for Southampton who win there second European Super cup in there second attempt
