Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson of #LFC(£71m) cost more than #Arsenal's current XI - £63.65m.
 
Frimpong getting into the game. Not afraid to voice his opinion either..
 
Frimpong and Nasri have been our best.

Love the way Frimpong gets about his work, not afraid to get physical but also shows some good touches on the ball. Song should be looking over his shoulder, he might not be an automatic selection for too much longer.
 
Young Miquel has amazing composure I must say. Looks like one for the future, or present if our injury crisis continues and Wenger doesn't sign a new CB.
 
Miguel has settled in nicely, wonder if this could be his breakthrough match?

Good performance and he could be Arsene's choice for the 2nd leg at Udinese at least.

Miyaichi for Arshavin would be a positive move, I don't know what has happened to Andrei but he doesn't look himself.
 
Been an even game, Liverpool have had the better chances but Arsenal looking dangerous too. Liverpool are lacking the Suarez factor and Arsenal are lacking Wilshere's composure in central midfield.

Arshavin has really struggled. Touch, dribbling and passing has been pretty poor and Miquel has been superb since coming on for Koscielny. Walcott has been invisible and barely done anything except eyeball the referee. Need to get him more involved and get Ramsey on the ball more.

Also, Vermaelen has been superb. Looks a very rich man with that £35M in his pocket.
 
If Vermaelen was fit all last season then in my opinion Arsenal could have won the title and silverware.

He is so key to the defence that him missing the season cost Arsenal big time, their defence is actually stronger with him and without Clichy. Still need a LB and a new CB though for me.
 
Predicitng some Miyaichi magic off the bench. Get him on for Arshavin.
 
How Henderson is starting ahead of Aquilani I have no idea. He's been naff.

Frimpong has been so good today. Vermaelen has bossed the game at the back.
 
Walcott's been poor today IMO, Wenger really needs to think about some subs.
Owch, Frimpong's had a really good game, shame to see him sent off.
 
Once again lack of discipline hurts the club
