Yeh i guess, not many nations have a good quality left back these days. Only ones that i can think of are Cole, Evra and another one but cant think of his name others are decent at best.
 
LMAO Nani and Ashley young showed exactly why Clichy isn't world class. Maybe in the future Arsenal fans but no way right now. His defending for Man utds 3rd goal was screamworthy.
 
I think i voted for Evra at the time. but i think Cole was playing better before his injury. so i am not to sure
 
you ask any football critic or any1 associated with football to make a world best 11 cole will be in that left bk spot 99 per cent of the time he's the best at what he does, he can defend, he has pace he gets forward he can cross he chips in the goals he just got the lot just needs to play more football then and less playing the field on the missus of his if he aint happy ill take her off his hands lol
 
You havent put Capdevila, within a shout, right?
 
I despise Ashley Cole for all aspects of his existence, therefore I voted for Evra who i think is a better player anyway.
 
I'd say Evra, Cole is over-rated imo

agreed, i cant see how someone can say someone can say Cole is over rated, although i agree with him that Evra is better out of the two, just about though.
 
oh im not questioning his pick thats his opinion but just his comment about cole.
 
i think cole is really over rated aswell, sorry its my opinion

I unfortunately have to agree. When you are exposed defensively by someone as bad as Nani, you cannot be considered in this discussion. When Clichy does hit a good patch, though, he is very good.
 
because theres only premier league in planet football.

I'd say Lahm is the better player overall (versatility + leadership skills as well)

two words.....Gareth Bale. If not now then he will be soon, jaw droppingly good for tottenham this year
