SEASON RECAP:

We would claim the titles of top Goalscorer, assists, and average again. Once again we would win the league and this time by 18 points. We would shattered all types of records, and well despite going 18-4 we posted a ton of shut outs. While this is all find and dandy the rest of the league is now cornered we are too good for the league. Now the clock is on for when we will lose both our goalie and centerback. However, their moral is slightly improving (they are just not straight red anymore) so maybe there is a sliver of a chance for us to sign them. If so it will be all over for the league. Still even if they do both go we will win the league next year we just probably win 18 games or shut out almost everyone.
Valur who was suppose to get relegated finishes in third. They must be mad. Last year that meant you would be in the group stage of the Europa, and this year they will have to qualify now for the Europa league. The pre-season favorites who were suppose to finish third shockingly, I say that with sarcasm, got relegated.

There are a couple of green arrows in our league this year which is really good. The biggest one being KR and KA as they now sit behind us respectively, but are still a full star behind. Hey even some 1. Deild karla and 2. Delidkarla teams are improving. So that is just the cherry on top. One sad bit of news is that while Grotta won the 2. Deild karla league they somehow went down in rep rating. Maybe I am sending them too many players and it is hurting them growing their own.

Sterling would finally take a coaching qualifications course and would get his Continental Pro License which took him the whole year to do. Now how dangerous is the best coach in Iceland going to be?

Winning the league saw an increase as we are now close to 30K for winning first. This is only promising of what our league is now doing as a whole.
View attachment 109722
32K increase for TV rights in one year. I don't think anyone else has build a stadium yet, but that was a big increase as we sit now at 207K for the year.
View attachment 109721
Another year and no one sold really. Sure we had 2 people but that was mostly from pre-season who were on the under 19 squad and they sold only cause of compensation. As you can see we sent again another year of players to Grotta on loan as well as more teams in our league.
View attachment 109720
This is the first year they actually posted the league sponsorship standings. Sure the league doesn't make that much (5 million) but just think what it has been prior since they never brought it up. We are the tops at 850K last year but we shall see it over a million after next year (all about the new stadium).

We are back on a rise for everything. Some new deals now put our annual sponsorship deals at 1.11M. Now the question to ponder is will these numbers go up or down next year after losing two starters?
View attachment 109718
So now we have 21 people called up for International Duty. While that is a staggering number it isn't as impressive as Sterling would like. Only 6 are on the NT. 8 are on the Under 21 (I bet a couple will be moved up next year for how well they played for us this year), and 6 are showing on the under 19 team. We do have one for another country in Portugal under 21.

Normally Stjarnan doesn't release this number to the public. However, we got a huge increase in both numbers this year. We went up about 250K for payroll salary and around 20 million in transfer budget. Funny thing is our wages is only set at 80k a week right now.
Team and Player Awards:

Arnarsson would already get the call up to national team at the tender age of 17 and would score his first goal international goal. What was shocking is that it was not only against Spain, but it was the goal that put us in the lead. Iceland national team is sky-rocking back up to mid twenties rankings, and fans are happy coach Sterling didn't take over the NT. Although some more players are popping up now as regulars on the NT.

Our record would stand for the full year as the league we now currently are on a 25 game unbeaten streak (pic 1). We finished the season unbeaten (pic 2) but now the new streak everyone is talking about is if we can actually post the perfect 22 mark. It doesn't seem far away now especially with the depth (crazy how a couple years ago we had no depth) and the ability to bring in subs who are quality players.

Did anyone not seeing this coming into the season? It will be a sad day once we sell Bjornsson off. Still 14 league shutouts is very impressive.
View attachment 109712View attachment 109711
18 wins (pic 2) and the 58 points (pic1) for the year is a new record. I think our fans wanted 66 points, but 58 isn't too shabby.
View attachment 109710View attachment 109709
Oh so close to the max capacity for attendance with 4,854 for the league (pic 1). We need to max it out this year since our stadium will be build at the end of next season (finally). One good note is that for the year we do have 6,313 attendance as for the whole season.

An average rating by someone who isn't an attacking player. Well this is good news. So much that our wingbacks aren't very good. An 8.14 for league play in 14 games is very good.
View attachment 109707
This is just cruel. Player of the Year goes to the best rated player in the league. Just cruel knowing that we have to lose him. Real Madrid and Barcelona have both offered 25 million after the group stages of Champs League. Sterling decline hoping we can get him excited about staying on our team.

Arnarsson who tied two other players, but would win the Golden Boot because of less appearances. He only had 13 league games played so just assume what that number would be if he was getting the games like Tokiv and Bjornsson were getting?

Another year and another sweep for Icelandic Young Player of the Year. Two ST and a M claim this award that is just turning into a team award.
View attachment 109704
Another goal of the year. This isn't so shocking now for how many goals we put up now. We are more of an offensive team and while in the league we run more of a control style instead of an attacking style. Sure we probably could score 5 or 6 goals each game if we were more attacking, but I think we wouldn't post the shutouts, and Sterling is fine with 2-0 or even 3-0 wins instead of 4-1 or 5-3 scores.
View attachment 109703
Sterling would win head coach for another year. Still this one would be impressive as it is the first time that a head coach got over 1,000 points (1,015).
View attachment 109702
Only 4 players made it on the Icelandic Team of the Year. While this could be more like all 11, we do shuffle our lineups and you could tell as our top goal scorer only played in 13 of the 22 league games this year.
View attachment 109701
All this means is that we don't have people missing games since of silly yellow cards culmination. Although I wonder if we could press a little more in the league without losing this. Still can't complain when you set all the records we did this year and still get this award.
View attachment 109700
So the assist record would be broken by a wing back. Yes, in Champs League they play mostly back, but we do allow them to move forward in the league. Which is why if we moved more to attacking we would allow a lot more goals.
