Hi;

Im just using this tacticv but i have some qeustionqs regarding this tactic.
- What players do i need to put in Centrehalves
- what is the difference between Targetman and striker? is it FC and SC?
- What players need to go in wingbacks and fullbacks?

thanks

Hi there sn33ky, in answer to your questions...

1) Central defenders use DT Centrehalves
2) If your forward usually takes the role of a "targetman" or a "deep lying forward" then the "DT Targetmen" schedule is designed for them (works more on the physical side of the game such as heading and strength), whereas the players that take up an "advanced forward" or "poacher" need to be put on the "DT Strikers" schedule. (Note: It may be worthwhile doing a few monrhs of each type if you are lucky enough to possess a truely "complete forward")
3) Wingbacks are really attacking fullbacks and so the DT Wingbacks schedule works on their attacking skills more than DT fullbacks schedule (which is more defence minded)

Hope that helps matey, and gl :)

Tryin this with my Sunderland Team look good mate good job:)

So i have a noobie question....
Is there a point in putting training to intensive? what about certain area of training? is there a point of putting certain area on more then "high"? how do those correlate? Someone mentioned ehre that there is no point in putting certain category on more then high...

I tend to put my players on one training schedule for a large period of time (or even forever!), because I don't want them injured it's best to go to the top end of medium. A good guide is the players own reaction to the training regime... you can see this on their "training page"... this will tell you if they are finding training too hard, which will have a counter productive effect and potentially injure them.

As for specific parts of a schedule you can go high, or intensive but only at the expense of another aspect of the training, this can mean other stats drop quite drastically.

Hope that helps bud!

Well, if i find a regen and he has acceleration 10, if i put him to my regime which had aerobic set to start of "medium" lets say his acc will rise to 12-13 in 4 years.. if i put on intensive, can it go up to 18? i doubt it but... just wondering if my schedules which i had are **** or not...
for instance, may attackers had:BC, AT, SH at start of intensive, STR,SP and TA at start of medium, aerobic in middle of medium to high and defending in the middle of none to medium.
workload is heavy, but absolutely all attackers were happy, some had certain percentages on position or prefered move trainings, but that AFAIK isn't related to actual training workload...

You could try but to get intensive aerobic you would have to reduce or not train in other areas and you'll soon see those other stats drop. Take "tactics" these include stat improvements for "off the ball" which is handy for a quick striker (no point being fast if the run he makes is mistimed!)

The other thing to remember that not every regen is going to become a superstar, the stats will only increase quickly if that player has great potential (a player like Jack Rodwell for example improves quickly in the game).

I wouldn't like to say the training regime you are using is ****, if you are seeing results then that's all you need to know! ;)

Btw, what is "AFAIK?" oO)

Hmmm...i still don't get it though. what is the difference of having, lets say, aerobic at medium, middle medium or intensive? only the speed of learning or it does make the number rise higher... ?
afaik=as far as i know :P

medium, high, intensive is how hard they train at that aspect... the harder they train the better the likely improvements (and more frequent), the lower the training the greater the chance of deterioration. Harder overall training means the greater the chance of injury (afaik! ;))

Np, If you go to the players training page and select the "attributes" view, you get a list of attribute improvements for that player over the last year, but you can also see the attributes listed by schedule item (e.g. Strength or Aerobic), there should be a drop down menu in the top right corner of the page to do this. GL

Dan bit of advice please,
i was using tugs for first team, and yours for youth team,
thought i would give yours a go as well, but the stats seam to be dropping on some of the first team now after 2 months of your training.
why is that and what can i do to stop it
thanks

So far i've found Dans Training to make little improvement over almost two months so have just changed to Tugs. Had strange results with Bolton with some massive improvements to Muamba but nothing for eveyone else, i've moved the rest of the Bolton team to Tugs but can't decide wether to move Muamba, anyone know which training produces best results for yound defensive mids?

Hi Jolobo,

Hmmm.... really not sure, that certainly hasn't happened to me... even when I switched from Tugs. Are the players that are dropping getting played regularly? Have they been injured during this time? Or are they aged 31+?

nope all playing first team,
one of the players i noticed has got back all the stats hes lost again,
the other one i noticed hasent yet.
maybe its a little blip then. will wait and see

How long did you stick to the schedule maybe they were getting used to it

For training schedules I find having everyone on medium strength and aerobic then tweaking the others to suit the position of the player helps. For example, strikers will have intensive shooting/ball control and low defending, while defenders will have intensive defending/tactics and low shooting/set pieces

Wat is your " medium", 11 or 13 ?

I'd like to thank everyone for their posts but ask that you be more specific where possible, as I'm most interested in understanding how I can improve my training schedules.

I have never claimed that my schedules are any better than another schedule, so if you believe they are lacking in any aspect please explain as comprehensively as possible what you believe the problems to be. Also please remember that you cannot compare two training schedules by swapping them mid-season, the circumstances are not controlled and it should be remembered that stat improvements happen over time (what you see could actually be as a result of the previous training schedule!)

I have run a comparision test with the popular Tugs Training today in controlled circumstances, that is the same coaching staff with the same assignments, the same seven 'control' players (Guzan, Warnock, Collins, Delph, Milner, Carew, Delfouneso), measured over exactly the same period of time (from 7th July 09 to 2nd June 2010).

The results have been interesting: with Tugs I saw stat's across the control players rise by 68 points but fall by another 12 (a total of +56); with Dan's Training the control players rose by 58 points and fell by 8 (+50).

The only enviromental condition outside of my control was injuries: in the first test (Tug's) the control players spent a total of 70 days out injured (during which time they do not train!) During test 2 (Dan's) the control players were injured for a collective period of 238 days.

On the face of it there is little difference between these two training schedule's, with Tug's perhaps marginally better (although the difference in the time the control players spent injured should be taken into consideration). But Tug's is not without it's problems too.

What I aim to do is look further into the differences between the two schedule's, using this and further experiments, and attempt to optomize Dan's Training.

Thank you for your continued support. :)

Hmm Dan, I admit I only just started using them but they are looking very effective, here are a few spoilers on my Burnley save
