Arsenal carry on their good early season form, by collecting three straight wins in all competitions. This continues the claim that Frankie Hobbs should get the job on a full time basis. The Gunners fans still are aware that the season is not even in full flow yet, so they will not get ahead of themselves.
They first of all avoided a potential banana slip, by putting one over Stoke. Eduardo was brilliant all afternoon, spearheading most of Arsenal's attacks, and opening the scoring. Robin Van Persie added the second, as Arsenal slipped to a comfortable victory.
They carried this form into a home game against Villa, one which they bossed, they created chance after chance, and Eduardo continued his form to bag a goal, from 15 yards, a low-powerful strike. Bendtner then added the second before Gallas made the game safe in injury time.
Standard Liege were next, not an easy game, but Arsenal started off the Champions League group stages with a 4-0 win, Walcott, Fabregas and an Own goal were scorers, but the M.O.M was that man again, Eduardo, going back to the form before 'that' day at St Andrews.

Walcott backs Hobbs
Ahead of one of the biggest games of the season, when Arsenal travel to Anfield, Theo Walcott has sung the praises of caretaker boss Frankie Hobbs, saying he must get the job on a full time basis. He tells us how, Frankie is 'one of the lads', and is up for a laugh, but can also show the great passion he possesses, and can get tough, which Theo believes is a great strength to have.
This comes ahead of the showdown between Liverpool and Arsenal. Rafa Benitez will be going all out for a victory, over the manager that called him 'too cautious' in a recent interview. Benitez hit back saying Hobbs shouldn't have got the job, seeing as he had only previously been a coach at Bleu Square Premier club Hayes and Yeading United. It is yet to be seen if the war of words will spill onto the pitch.
