I would like to be able to tell my team they are all a bunch of worthless shitbags -.-

The ability to bribe a match official, 10k for an opposition player to be red carded etc.

Would add to the realism of the game.

On the team comparison section in the team report that lets you see your teams average attributes in defence, midfield etc and the leagues average attributes, it would be good to pick say a specific defender for example from your squad or maybe any other squad, and compare his attributes to the average attributes of other defenders in the league.

I think this might give more insight into whether or not a player is good enough for your squad. Sorry if anything like this has already been posted.

Been playing FM since the 2007 version so got a few good ideas-
Improved press conferences and clearer consequences- Press conferences get tedious having to answer the same old questions again and again with the same answers not knowing the effects it has on the players.
Training upgrade improvement- Instead of just improving levels in training facilities, we should be able to buy equipment and facilities to improve on certain aspects of training e.g swimming pool to improve strength and stamina traing
Potential abilty- Get rid of it! In the real world you can't predict the maximum potential of a player. It's annoying nurturing a player from the age of 15 then hitting his maximum potential. Any young player should have the potential to be a good player.
Rivals- I play as Chorley who's rivals are Bamber Bridge, Lancaster, Accrington and Preston. The problem is, when I take Chorley to the higher leagues I rarely ever play rivals. Change the rivalry system to change based on the club status and manager comments.
Junior teams- In modern football major teams train players from the age of nine. It could be interesting and very satisfying to spot a young star early on and train him to a world class level.
Player friendships- Allow players to randomly develop friendships with team mates other than just tutor and learners friendships.
Random events- Players falling out with each other after a string of bad results, hitting the headlines after non-football incidents, high profile players getting advertisement deals etc etc

Thats just off the top of my head for my first post :)

Player friendships- Allow players to randomly develop friendships with team mates other than just tutor and learners friendships.

This does happen to be fair, Elia on FM11 turned up of favoured personnel of several senior players, and Carroll and Suarez on FM12 have done the same.

Id like to see more options for formations, like I would say a holding midfielder realisticly plays inbetween a defensive midfielder and central midfielder, and a forward playing just off the front man (think suarez, rooney) would be in between the attacking midfielder and striker positions. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of choice when it comes to formation selection.

Id also like to see a work rate slider-bar added on team/player instructions so I could tell a player coming on for the last 20 minutes to run his socks off or a tiring player to take it easy when the game is virtually won. Seems realistic enough, if you were chasing the game in the last 10 minutes you'd want your players to get working hard and you i've not noticed a difference in work rate in the latter stages. Obviously there would be potential consequences - their condition would take a hit which would lengthen their recovery time, and also an increased chance of injuries.

Also want to echo some suggestions:
- Having scenarios (keep blackpool in the prem in 15, half time in istanbul 2005, Chelsea 3-0 Man utd with 40 mins remaining)
- "Dynamic" PA: surely with proper nurturing and some degree of natural ability a player can become good?
- More options when creating set pieces (think FIFA 12)

Attack/defence possitions like in real life a 4-3-3 will prob turn into 4-5-1 on defence another thing that has allready been said is dynamic PA that would really add realism to the game

Would love to see a picture of ur stadium and also the options to build a new stand and choose what type of stand and capacity you want to build and how much this would cost. Like the old LMA manager games, i used to love upgrading my stands/stadiums.

I used to love LMA Manager games lol, do they still make them? A lot of stuff could be taken from LMA. Being able to design stadiums would be awesome though.

Managers should be able to do training as other coaches if they want to. I don't know how it looks in the AI teams, but I didn't see this to be available anytime I managed a team. Also it would be good if there were coaching stats developed for real managers, the same as for the AI ones.

Free kick takers should be picked by the area where it is taken from. Say like from 35 meters you'd choose someone who has a PPM of rifling free kicks and shooting them with power and from 17 meters someone who curls them, has better technique etc.

Specific player goal analysis. It would be most useful for strikers. You could see there what kind of goals they scored, using which leg or was it a header, where from, who assisted them, what kind of assist it was (pass, cross, free kick, corner) and from which area it came from. Plus, we could see their whole career statistics and how well did they do against a specific team.

Playmaking analysis could be added as well (or maybe it already is there??). Who passed to whom etc.

Some financial options could be added. Taking a loan, paying the debt sooner, selling the stadium name if you are struggling financially.

Plus, lowering the tickets/season tickets prices if you are not filling the stadium and you want to have better attendance, and making them higher if you are selling out the tickets every game and you are not able to expand the stadium. The prices would be handled by the board.

Ability to bribe UEFA/a whole league. The cost you have to pay would be correlated with the referee's reputation, and some other factors. This would accurately reflect the Croatian league, for example.

Contradicting much? How will you be able to judge a good junior player without a PA? How do you think FM should be player without PA? I Agree in certain ways that the PA destroys well a lot. However, Marco Verratti has a terrible PA in my save (i really don't know why) yet he's still a beast if you play him properly.

On a side note: i don't think they should adjust this really.

About PA look at Kuyt. At 18 he was playing for an amatuer club, gets picked up as a decent talent by Utrecht, scores loads, wins the cup, transfers to Feyenoord, scores more, transfers to Lpool, reaches Cl final, reaches WC final.

No one expected him to have that PA irl, yet he kept getting better.

How awesome would it be if you win promotion six times, arive in the EPL and have your homegrown MC who has been first team since 17yo, get a PA boost. Like maybe 1 time at most and max. 10 points or something? Or maybe 3, 4 points per league promoted to, and he can only reach that with CA in the higher league so he loses the points not turned into CA in case of a relegation.

Other stuff missing:
- i want to see Wenger walking in his bodybag
-better 3d engine
- i want to be able to set stuff like 'takes long shots' to 5 options. Never/less than average/average/ more than av/ often
- make a difference between long and short fks
-see dribbling/flair/creativity
- If you get a red card, team talk should be different OMFG
-more control over youth setup and training fac
-regen of To Madeira <3
-3d remake of important stadiums

They should take the FM series to a new level and be able to become the board owner.. You could then manage the club in the sense of controlling finances, choosing your head coach, allowing certain transfers to happen and cancelling others, etc... It would be a nice touch to the series.

Also, is there even advantage law in this game?

i think the pa increase would be good, look at steve morrison, few years ago he was conference, but now he is prem standered.
Also I think there should have the ability to start the game from the real life standings like half way through the season, so you could manage the underachieving Notts forest or something like that

A view from above the clouds that zooms in on the location of the match (if you choose to click a certain button), or the same thing from any teams info screen.

This isn't a feature but I feel they really need to change the algorithms for re-gen stats. I'm not a fan of using re-gens anyway but I find it absurd that after 1-2 seasons all of a sudden there are a handful of 17 yr olds almost as good as Messi. All too often I see some absurd regen on a computer team that at 17 and already better than Jack Wilshere or Aaron Ramsay at 20-21. If Messi only has PA of 199 there is no way multiple re-gens should be getting 200 PA.

I 'm sure some of these have already been mentioned but here i go.

- I'd like to see my managerial stats affect my job.
e.g. Loyalty to players affecting transfer targets' decision, tactical consistency and tactics / mentality in general affecting players.

- Focusing on national players
If my team has many players of the league's nationality increase my domestic popularity which would affect attendance, income, team spirit, dynamic of home games etc. Also a meter of some kind showing the clubs fan base nation-wide and abroad and see it change according to policies and results.

- Dynamic Rivalries
I made it to the Champion's League semi-finals twice by winning over Chelsea lets say. I want my next game against them to be really tense.

- Realistic Board reactions
I unexpectedly won the UEFA Cup with my Villarreal side and the board was.. satisfied. I want them to be ecstatic and give me a new throne at the bench if you know what i mean. I want them to be keen on satisfying my requests if I'm doing a good job. I want to see the board trying. I want the board to set more specific goals and judge me accordingly or even pay out squad bonus for e.g. a European qualification or a win at an important match.

- Job Application
Setting priorities when offered or applying for a job. e.g. the president wants a title immediately or rebuild the squad with more nation-born players or capitalize on the youth academy (Ajax style) or wants to see attacking football.

- Detailed facilities. e.g. If I'm in a lower league and i want to play a strong physical game i d like to be able to invest in a gym only due to budget restrictions. Also on the edit budget option it would be nice to be able to spend that 300k you can spare to upgrade something be it the youth academy or some training facilities. Moreover, when i sign a 4 star coach to work on poor facilities i want it to become a 3.5 maybe and when i upgrade the corresponding facilities to rise.

- More options in transfer offer. Signing a player but letting him stay "on loan" for x years with maybe an x% of wages covered. Tweaking the part/exchange so it can be actually viable. Being able to negotiate with the player first and then with the team ( players' mentality (professionalism) could determine whether a player would accept to do it that way). Being able to buy a player by giving out players on loan, i buy a player from a (usually lower league) club and i loan out a couple of my players.

- A few more details in the tactics especially in set pieces.

- Team talks not having the devastating effect they have on 2012. Also "interaction" with managers and players either removed entirely or enriching it with more than the 3 standard useless options.

If ANY of these happens in 2013 i will be ... satisfied.

I would like the to see the Team overview by your assistant i.e his opinion of the best players for each position, his second best, and the best youngsters. Also highlighting weakness in this squad, along with any area's lackign depth, along with some recomended players. as as in FM 10.
The new system which shows you strenght of every possible playing position could perhaps be aided with the assistant advicing which areas are weak and which areas need more depth.

I also think that fan interaction should be done, perhaps when viewing the team from previous game, have the fans approval of each player in each position. With a small note.
You could get approval for fromations, such as 69% agreed with 4-2-3-1, 20% wanted to see 4-4-2 8% wanted 4-5-1 and 3% Other.
also each player has approval rating, e.g Carrol 49% Bellamy 30% Kuyt 20% Others 1%

Also I think the scouting of opositions could be improved upon. As well as giving details analysis, you should also recieve some slightly less detailes info on Strengths/Weakness's. E.G They look susepitcal to pace in wide area's, there wingers are lazy and tend not to track back, etc. Would help when setting out your team.

I'd like refs to be punished when they've blatantly made a mistake, and to be able to actually win an appeal when your player has been wrongly sent off.

PA changing is a must.

Morale-boosting team dinners, parties, etc.

J-League...or at least the real-life players put on the fake teams.

Being able to back a country/stadium for a tournament/final.

Able to convince a player to stay in football after he retires.

Option to retire shirts and ask for a statue to be built for a club legend.

Trophy celebrations.
