steam is not allowing me to download the demo, anybody else having this problem? and how do i fix it?

it may be due to some other game (f.e. FM11) open. Just a guess, I had the same. When closed it, dl started immediately.

I had to hide my ip to be able to download the demo from Germany. Maybe that's the case for you as well.
