Yeah i like the 4-4-2 formation, but my strikers usually don't consistent F9 role, my second season Lukaku and Kane scores a lot, both of them scores 22 goals for league but third season don't scores, both of them most consistent Complete Forward role.

It uses CF and DLF and I was going to try it for LL as F9s are rare at that level.

Players usually use support roles for strikers, why do players use attacking roles for strikers? I think best striker scores a lot advanced forward or poacher role, why do you think knap?

I used AF in 16.2 with Oxford and Dambusters.

I changed Dambusters to support but 16.3 version of Oxford still uses AF from memory.

If you have a tweak of a tactic using AF or Poacher what results did you get and have you tried them on a testing league.

I'm always open to suggestions and try as many different reasonable formations as possible.

May need to tweak set pieces and moving away from F9s is on my Agenda.

Found a lot more success using Defensive forward as Leiscester , instead of F9's.

Aside from that second in the league, but cant catch United :P

DFs may also work better in Lower League, so worth posting up tactic and results and tweaks if they can help others.

Changed your CF and DLF tactic to include wingers instead of WM and it's been Woking well so far. I'll post some screens if I continue to get some good results.

Love this tactic! So far, this has been one of the best defensive tactics I have played with in 4-5 years.

I adjust little things during the match, and have only really changed the role of the ML (to better suite Koke) and have had success with my left striker as both a F9 and Poacher, but have yet to get my right striker (Vietto & Correa) to start playing consistently well.

If you get good results post up changes as may help others. I probably have many variations available as I noticed an AF version looking for CF version, if you just want to try these without me posting a test season then you are more than welcome.

Using the winger tactic and it's been scoring a lot of goals. Strikers have been hammering them in. Just for context: Some of the main changes I've made was increase the tempo, set the mentality to counter and change the wide midfielder to wingers. My players have been achieving crazy ratings as a result.

I ended up paying with the AF DLF tactic last night and the matches were rather good to watch if you like attacking football from both sides. Picked up a good number of points so I will probably try a few more tweaks and see if it flies.

currently using the original with 2 wide midfielders and 2 false 9's fantastic tactic and having the best success with it.

Just think as i have PASTORE for the LM position using just attack duty for wide midfielder but just wonder if i changed him to 'wide playmaker' would that make much difference. He is performing pretty well in the position i have him in but just wondering if you think that would work?

You can only find out by trying and it may suit player, looking at the role it certainly could work and may be an interesting set up.

Out of interest this works with playmakers so should not be to much of a problem

I have tested your 442Midsomer tactic with TFF Tactic Test Database V2 and got 108 points... good job Knap :)
This tactic has same performance as TFFV5 Balanced.

Thanks! Also won everything else but lost FAC on pens to City :(

Great tactic especially considering my first 11.
