Liverpool F.C. The 5 Year Plan.

Leverkusens group wasn't that great at least you can understand why they finished top just like why you finished 2nd lol!

Just read all of this. Such a great story. Soon I'll start a save with Liverpool and I'll take some of this ideas on board.

Keep it going mate, it's awesome!

I was like a little kid at Christmas when i saw this was back for another edition :)

Love seeing this back, hooked already, keep up the good work, always like how you stay true to the team you have when you take the job, something I always try to do within my own saves

Aye, Both Napolli and Athletico haven't the same squads they had last year so they're an easier oppertunity to progress form. Still, I'll have to be on my game to get through.

Cheers my friend. Squad rotation is the Key with Liverpool. You need to get the most out of very similar players and manage their growth since they have a lot of potential to fulfil.

Cheers Guys, I do these stories for you! It's just an ordinary save but with great feedback and such dedicated followers, it's ye who make it something special :)

I love to work with the squads already at the club. You need a season to know what you have to work with and what players to bring in... otherwise you're just bringing people in for the sake of it and then adjusting the entire system to accommodate 3 new people. Seem crazy to me.

Janurary is finnished, just waiting for a quiet moment when I'm free to write the update.
Been so busy recently.

A decent win. Suso has been looking lively lately and it's great to
see him top of a good performance with a goal. The back 4 had a
great game and kept the Hull forwards quiet all match.

View attachment 327009
Another goal for young Jerome Sinclair, bringing his tally to 3 goals in 4 games. He's taken
his chance in the first team by the storm and earned his right to be a 1st team squad member.
The first player to be promoted up from the academe under my management.

Sturridge scoring two. I was disappointed he couldn't get a hat-trick but hey, C'est la Vie!

We played well enough to have won this game but the truth was we left the points behind us.
I don't really want to fault anyone here. Sakho gave away the crucial penalty but in fairness,
De Gea more than won them the points tonight. 8 shots on target and only one
goal conceded = great goalkeeping.

Sensational Suso. A Hatrick to crow a fantastic outing. He missed his 89 minute penalty
but was on hard to bury the rebound.

Either way, I've a huge fixture in the next round. A Derby either way!

West Ham made this one a tough game. They defended really well and
forced me a low 5 shots on target despite having 58% possession. They
gave me the ball and relied on their defense to keep me out. It worked well
for 60 minutes be an unfortunate own goal by the Hammers Keeper opened
the gates.

Aye, it could be a huge game since it'll move me to 4th if I win.

Getting close and lets hope you get that win against Spurs!

Loveren and Sakho have been my first choice CB pairing while Kolo Toure and Llyod Jones have
done well when called upon. Skrtel spent the beginning of the season injured and hasn't really impressed
since coming back and given that Andre Wisdom and Coates are due back next season, I've decided
to let him go.

Monaco put in a £8.25M and I accepted.

Fantastic story - the amount of effort you've put into this is great!

Good work mate.

The month started so well with teh win over spurs which put us 4th,
but we've let far too many points slip and I'm genuinely worried about
qualifying for The Champions League next season. Still, we're doing well
in the Champions League, 5-2 on aggregate and an F.A. Cup replay agasint
United in Anfiled.

While you did drop a few points I still believe that it was quite a succesful month. You managed to secure a vital win in the Champions League that should be enough to get you into the next round and you managed to progress in the FA Cup against your fiercest rival. Perhaps Champions League qualification simply isn't a realistic goal with this squad (I mean compared to their real life form you are doing an amazing job).

One thing though in the schedule for February there is a game against Chelsea but for some reason there is no match report for that match.

Aye, I'm just frustrated as I can feel 4th place slipping away from me and It's so hard to get back their without that income.
I'll fight for the Europa League trophy if I end up there but I'm worried I may loose Sturridge and Sterling since they'll probably want Champions League football.

Cheers, knew I'd forgotten something.
