Although i wouldnt say our youngsters are better than Utd's i think people are writting them off too quickly. Utds young lads have had more game time as they have been in Utds squad for 1 or even 2 seasons already but Chelsea's youngsters have only been in the first team from the start of this season. So effectivley Utds young lads would have grown more in confidence and expirenece which the Chelsea lads are gaining right now. The problem is they are not proven at this level but are learning every day, come next season they would have had grown in confidence, ability and expirenece and thats only a good thing.

Heard a good thing the other day actually that if you are to go on and become a big player in this game then you will make your first team debut at the age of 17. Which Bruma, Van Aanholt and McEachran have all done.

Behave yourself Son.

Fabio, Rafael, Macheda, Welbeck, Obertan, Smalling, Gibson, Cleverly have already done more for our team then your boys have, and there all similar ages.

Gibson is 23, I'm talking 21 and under. What has Cleverley done for you? He's never made a full-team appearance, has he?

Cleverly is a decent player and looks the type of player that could fit into Utds team maybie next season. But you can't rate our lads up against Utds young lads because they are a year or two more expirenced and older.

23 is still relative young....

Cleverley has played a full role for an EPL side for 6 months now, and performed very well indeed. He could come back either now or in 6 months time and be an important part of our Squad. So Our youngster have shown more promise and quality then yours... FACT.

No one is writing them off, its that the gap between them and the aging start is too big. How can you expect Josh to cover for a player like lampard?

I don't and i have said that in another thread somewhere. We have some sensational aging players i.e Lampard and Drogba and then we have some excellent youth prospects i.e McEachran and Bruma but where is the expirenced players aged 23-28??? Kalou?? Mikel?? They are both decent players but nothing more than that.

But you said he's done more for MAN UTD than all those Chelsea players, yet never made a first team appearance!

the you is a general you, rather than specifically you.

Agreed they are coming in now, when really, you wanted them 2 seasons ago, becuase "they" should on the way to that experienced 23-28 that you mention, thast the difference between our youth and yours. Hence why i say united's youth is significantly better

He made us a loan fee to wigan, which is worth more then what thos chelsea players have done, and your picking up on something little, did you neglect to mention to other players, as you agree with me on them, yet earlier you laughed at the thought of the Twins and said our Youngster are not better then yours?

Man United >> Liverpool young players > Chelsea young players.

Stop clutching at straws.

Although they have nothing to do with this conversation i wouldnt agree with you.

Should really be more like 23-26. Essien is 28, Zhirkov's 27, Alex is 28, Bosingwa's 28 (shame he can't defend). Also Ivanovic is 26, but I think he's more than decent, highly underrated player. But like you say that amount of experience in that age group isn't good enough, should be 3 or 4 more!

What happened to you over Christmas CJACKO? You seem to finally be talking some sense! :P

If what i heard was true and that Mourinho offered Van Der Vaart too us first and we said no then that must be one of the worst decisions ever made by a football club.

They've only done that through forced injuries, they've had no other option then to play them and none of them have excelled.

Well, I don't rate the Da Silva's too much if I'm honest, which is why I laughed, must admit they're good going forward but much like Bosingwa they can't defend! But as I said I earlier I didn't mention them because they're pretty much first team players now especially with Neville being past it and Brown injured (at least I think he's still injured).

I have always loved VDV too, ever since he was at Ajax, then he goes Spurs :'(

Neither do I...but I still disagree. Anyway I'm not going to post on this thread again (unless I feel it's really necessary) as everyone is just going to stick up for the team they like the most anyway.

I like Chelsea a lot more than I like United mate.

Rafael is a decent defender actually, but his strong point is his attacking game and brown isn't injured he's just lost it :S
