have to say, excellent effort... I'm doing well with Liverpool and 8 points clear in March but lost and drawn a few... only signed Mahamadou Diarra on a free and Emre Can for £4m so far... how did you afford Podolski and Hazard first season? I only had £2m available at the start :/
 
Just reached 100 goals in the Prem with Man Utd.Only 25 games in. Rooney 46 goals in 28 games
 
Some player info.

For me, the STC (Rooney) is the chief goalscorer so have an all round players. Fast, great finisher, good in air. [Complete Forward]

The STR (Niang/Chicharito) is your second highest goalscorer. Pace, acceleration, finishing, composure. [Poacher]

The STL (Neymar, even used Bale) is the more creative. Will not score as many as the other two but assists alot. [Deep-lying/Inside Forward]

The MCs are also important. Quite a few goals are scored on the counter attack so having good tacklers to win the ball quickly but also good passing to feed the strikers after winning it. I'm using Ayew and Hamsik. I bought Pastore but he is struggling big time, mainly because he can't tackle. I have a regen who is top drawer. Find attributes similar to this and you'll be grand.

DM (Jones or Hamsik v poorer teams). Strong and athletic. Good tackler and decent passer

FBs (Rafael/Jones and Evra/Jose Angel). Pace, stamina, crossing. Attacking full back. Think Evra, Dani Alves, Cole etc.

CBs (Smalling/Evans). Good pace, acceleration, tackling, heading, marking, passing.

GK (De Gea). Standard all round goalkeeper.

These are just my observations. Mr Houghs may well be different.
 
Just thought i will share some results.. I have testet this for a while and yes its a massive tactic.. After alot of games i found out that its best for my team to have a Ball winning man (arturo vidal/adam vass) and a creativ man (hamsik/willian) in the middle.. And up front the left attacker should be a offensiv mid/attacker/inside forward type (gotze/hazard) becouse he mainly is a assist man for me.. The two other striker is mainly the same type but the middle one is ofcouse the one that scores the most so for me he is the best attacker i have (hulk/fierro and erick torres).. GREAT tactic with the right players, maybe im wrong in my analyse but for me it works wonder..

Mr Hough please show me your barnsley starting line up against liverpool, i`ve been trying to look for a barnsley tactic for years and have always failed.
 
well i sadly ditched the tactic with qpr as they lost 5 games in a row (ok 4 was to chelsea manutd arsenal and tottenham ) but was given an ultimatem by the board to change things so i had to sadly

however lindell in the irish leaugue this is the best tactic i could have used currently on a 15 match unbeaten run and jamil adams has scored nearly 80 goals

(im confused how a weak team does so well but qpr did badly)
 
Great tactic Hough, middle of 2nd season with Wigan, started to stagnate with Koflok's Goals Galore, made a switch to this tactic and wow, results have been incredible so far!
 
Thank You for this great tactic. I used this at my first season with a second league team...I finished 2nd with 29 W 7 D 6 L and 102 goals scored ;)
 
New Update from Mr Hough

Here is the Link to the More Defensive Tactic, I'm 6 and a half hours over my deadline because i was feeling poorly so went to be extremely early, Like 6.30 English Time so that's why i never released it last night.

Now this isn't gonna make your defence superhero's or anything like that but it will provide some better stability in there and hopefully results like 2-1 and 3-1 will be more like 2-0 and 3-0.

My main objective was to stop the Opposition scoring that annoying 1 goal when i have won the game 4/5-0, That's one of the most annoying things about the game for me, Hopefully i have done that.

Is the defensive version to be used from the start or during the match when 4/5 up?
 
This is by far my favourite tactic ever.

Won the quadruple with Q.P.R. second season.
