I'm only asking so people who are working their way up the leagues have a rough idea of what template to follow.

For instance, if your newly promoted and expect to be underdogs all the time then minimum pitch size.......and if you've avoided relegation and done well that season then next season (if you didn't already get promoted) you put pitch size to maximum allowing for the better players you've brought in etc etc??

Ye, big compared to your division :) So, minimum if you have a weak team compared to the rest of the league, and maximum if you have a top side compared to the league. medium I guess if you are a mid-table team.

Possibly, it didn't lose any more games but the 4-5-1 got me way more draws than the 4-4-2, the 4-4-2 just gave me that cutting edge with Lukaku and Long up front, they played some beautiful one-twos.

Ah ye, I only have one decent striker though :P So maybe that's why:) How is it going with the rock?
 
How do you combat second half syndrome, where your players don't score or even worse concede like crazy? Not sure what you're doing, if anything, to combat this but I'd love to know. (Using Assman as teamtalker)

I usually don't have a problem with this. But I guess you could add some friendly matches in the winter break :)

Steady so far, only 7 games in but won 3 drew 3 lost 1 (to man city again, but this time got hammered), two easy home games against stoke and west ham next though. Lost Lukaku for 3 months but Long is doing just as well as the lone striker.

I'm sitting 4th place with Cardiff after 29 games first season :) LFCmarshall's update, so it's in the prem. I don't think this is possible at all with the Rock. I also beat Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal, and drew against Man Utd and Chelsea:P

Have you made any signings? if it's using cardiffs current real life squad then I don't think the rock could have done any better or probably as good.

The Rock is going to do worse in my WBA 20 game test I think.
 
Do you mind if I ask, do you have any filters for players for these tactics or just that thread you linked?

Yeah, among the starting 11 is Strandberg, Dockal, Will Hughes and Jem Karacan.
 
Tested the 442 and 451 tripletweaked with mid-table team. Got a couple of draws with 451 while collecting a few win with the 442. I know this is mid table team but how do you think this 2 tactic will fair if it was a top team like Barcelona or Man U?

Thanks for your quick replies dude, it's quite amazing how much time you spend to respond to questions.

I've just found your tactics recently but just based on their quality and your "customer service" (:P) I'll be sticking with you from now on.

Looking closer at the test, the 4-4-2 tripletweak is undefeated away (10-4-0), and the 4-5-1 is undefeated at home (14-0-0)
