Switched to this tactic midway through a season, with decidedly mixed results...

My Palace Side

GK Smithies
DL A.Boka / A.Dossena
DCR N.Onuoha / S.Gohuri
DCL D.V Buyten / C.Coady
DR N.Clyne / L.Perea
DM F.Gago
MCR O.Hargreaves
MCL F.Delph / J.Henderson / S.Sessengon
AML G.Assulin / S.Sessengon
AMR J.Fleck / H Ben Arfa / J.Henderson
St V.Love / Y.Sanogo

It's 'fairly' secure at the back but really stuggling to score... V Love does ok but he's a bit isolated. Sanogo has been purely ****. Wingers don't really do it much either... :(

give it time mate, your players (especially the attacking players) will/should suit this tactic! also changing midway needs a bit of getting used to....

change Vagner Love's role to Advanced Forward or Poacher - Attack (cant remember if it was set as Adv Forward already...)

have him making runs all the time! little creative freedom too! Sanogo wont fit this role/duty.. how has he developed for you?

I saw a post in this thread that you tried this tactic out with ManUTD.
1.) what was your best 11?
2.) did you sell anyone?
3.) did you buy anyone?

ty in advance

Sanogo has been ****** awful - what I am thinking is adapting your 433 to a 4231... pulling the DM up into MC, the Attacking mc into AMC, and putting Love there, then having Sanogo or Babacar be a poacher/targetman hybrid if that makes sense?

I've also found this Regen (at least I think it's a Regen)... I can sign him for £7m... looks like a class Target Man in the making... thoughts for a front man?

might just sell Sanogo and buy Stanley Okoro, can get him for about the same I will get for Sanogo, I want Babacar but they won't accept any of my bids - do you think a poacher or a target man work best with this formation? And do you think it will work with that switch?

this tactic is not made for a Target man type of player, its made for an agile, strong, quick striker! Okoro is good however Sanogo is better and develops better...

do whatever you want with the tactic mate, its meant as a template for you to tweak it exactly how you want it ;)

"Raikan's perfect 4-4-3"

When you say "perfect" do you mean "win nearly every game by 3-0/4-0"??

Please leave out the criticism, its how i like to play my game

no, thats nearly impossible mate! it all depends on you really! if you make the right tweaks etc to it it could :) that is what I have named my tactics since the beginning, you can go back 3 years and see its always that, does not mean they are 100% perfect :)

just perfect for me when I was using them and uploading them :)

any updates? nice one Dazron, good spot!

have you tried it Jimmy? any luck

Think i will give this tactic a try with a new save with Liverpool, using Lucas as the holding midfielder with Gerrard and Adam infront of him. Will let you know how i get on.

how do u put this tactic in2 using raikaN or any1? and uh does this have anything to do with why i cant put skins on fm...

how do i put this tactic into using? what i do after the initial download?

1) Unrar
2) take file and put into mydocs/sportsinteractive/fm11/tactics
3) not sure about your skins, are you putting them into mydocs/sportsinteractive/fm11/skins?

hey mate.
nope i dont think im going to try it. Im not really a fan of the 4-3-3 as i like wingers. Also i currently have about 4 wingers in my squad so using this would mean a major revamp of my squad. :/

I thought I'd share with you my first seasons results with Borussia Dortmund using this tactic, which I must say is really good and I always use it now.
