He refused to go to me because I offered rotation and he went to Espanyol first team. He scored 12 in 15 before breaking his leg, but before that he was scoring pretty much a goal a game in Brazil, that's what I was trying to get him. lol

Ahhh hope he does break his leg here!!! His stats are incredible for a 18 year old!!!!

I've seen a screenshot of him where he has 19 finishing, 18 composure and 17 pace and acceleration. Looks quite the tank TBH... And another good story Sam ;P

So as you can see Erick Torres was the big capture this month. For a team of Blackpool's stature to sign him is incredible, I know he's not immense yet but if he's even half as good as he was on 12 I'm chuffed with that. For £5m what could go wrong? Ademilson was also signed after Henriquez's spell ended last month I needed another striker and this guy looks very decent. Jonathan was snapped up for a measly £1.9m, he's a decent right back but what I didn't realise is he'd been on loan at Sao Paulo and can't play for me till the summer!! Muniesa and Diskerud had already had their deals in place for a couple of months.

Basham was sold as he wasn't getting played and Eccleston was sent to Southend. Here's some screenie's of the new boys.

Monthly Review


So we had an okay month. I'm obviously chuffed with the FA Cup results beating 2 top league sides. Next up we'll have Southampton or Colchester(I think) so I reckon we could maybe go even further!! Torres made his debut against Palace and had a stormer getting a goal, assist and MoM!! I never actually had him in FM12 :O. Ademilson has looked dangerous but all my signings need time to settle and gel but I'm happy with them all so far.

Thanks man, very happy to snap up players like I have. I'd sign Torres and Ademilson even if I was Barca!!! I've been monitoring the BPL to see if anyone getting upset, predictably Balotelli isn't happy

Honestly think there must be a bug, before the January window Chivas weren't accepting anything less than £11m for Torres then I just bid £5m in January and they accepted :S

I'll stay with them for a long time but maybe not forever.

Monthly Review


So our league form picked up a bit more his month which was good to see and 2 great comebacks against Hull and Peterborough. Torres and Ademilson are head and shoulders above every player in this league. Torres' movement and creativeness is incredible, his second goal against Colchester in the replay was an awesome team goal. Colchester got the lead through a peno but Delfouneso saved us in the second half. In the replay I fielded a full strength side and we smashed them. United in the next round and I think it will also be the end of our great FA Cup run!!

Yeah - but I got Neymar when we had won the European Cup (much more unrealistic) and Rooney aint that unrealistic as we almost signed him before he joined Man Utd (it was our offer that prompted Man Utd to go in for him) and who knows where he will be in 5 years time (same age as when I signed him).

Not criticising Sam in any way just a bit surprised/concerned that you can get such good players for a club like Blackpool in the first season.

Having said that - thats a bit rich coming from the man who signed Cesc Fabregas for Castel di Sangro!
