An alright month. Much to my desire we finally exited the league cup after my reserves and U21s took a full strength Division I side. Brychta got off to a great start. Hussein is yet to score but he barely played as Novothny is holding down the AMR position at the moment. All signings are performing pretty well, including 15 year old Robin Risa who bagged a goal via penalty in the cup.

We're in a bit of an uncomfortable 4th at the moment but hopefully we'll strengthen our position next month.

Novothny gets his first International call-up.

A really good month! The results against Videoton and Debrecen may have saved our European dreams. The three clean sheets this month was pleasing and I think might be our highest in a month so far.

View attachment 362090

Decided to highlight this match. It was where I experimented with a 4-4-2 formation as I wanted to play Hussein and Brychta at the same time. The results were pleasing as Brychta bagged two goals and Hussein bagged a goal and a stunning 3 assists. This may be our partnership of the future, long may it continue.

We're so close to achieving an entry into the Europa League, 3 games left and the last game of the season is against Ujpest...

Meanwhile we break our record attendance. Will ask for a new stadium soon.

In case anyone is interested in the Hungarian rules regarding European qualification and foreign players here they are, the transfer window is also different:

The two wins were all we needed and we got them. The two young guns scoring the goals. Hussein was incredible in that match against Kecskemet.

View attachment 362063

We finish in an amazing 3rd place! Breaking the big 3 apart for the first time finishing above Debrecen and two points behind Videoton is something to be proud of! Europe here we come!

Here's the article about our qualification

And here's the worst news I've heard in a while. Plans are scrapped for both our facilities to be improved and I couldn't be more gutted. Hopefully our involvement in the Europa League will boost our finances and give us the funds to improve them. In other news though our pitch is being relayed after two seasons of terrible quality haha.

Great job getting into the Europa League! And only 4 points off the top too. KIU!

The league is going okay. Qualification for the euros really has messed up the condition of our squad meaning a few losses will be had, however we did manage to win a good few so I'm happy!

View attachment 360938

We got insanely lucky with who we drew in each round. Two teams from Cyprus and a team from Azerbaijan meant we could easily sneak into the group stages! Facing us is Braga, Marseille and Fenerbache - basically that means I'm not advancing haha!

View attachment 360937

Sitting in an okay position for now, no team has really pulled away from us. I'm happy so far.

Outwards we have a lot of people who wanted too much money to extend their contracts so I basically told them to f off haha! Culjak signed with a new team instead of accepting my contract offer which sucked.

Quite a few ins so I'm just going to post thumbnails. The only one who cost me money is Stojanovic at £180k.

Ye have done a magnificent job.

Hehehehe, i manage Presov, so i know the bumps :p

Will no longer be doing updates for the Hungarian U19s and won't do international updates full-stop until I gain a first team management position.

However, today I will be starting updates for this again.

Enjoy!

I can remember why I stopped playing this save now - the ****** fixture congestion! With such a small squad it was really hard to keep them fresh and we struggled in all competitions up until the last two games of the month.

The Fenerbahce lost was expected but not the 6-2 thriller that eventually came. The Pápa loss had me confused as **** as we dominated but yet we couldn't score (tiredness?).

Marian Brychta was really a star this month showing his value and scoring 5 goals in all competitions... he was especially pleasing in both Europa League Group games! Speaking of Europa League - the win against Braga was absolutely outstanding. Stojanovic being the key player with a stunning 3 assists and he also bagged a goal. We were 1-0 down at half time and I told the team they were unlucky. Some how that motivated them to absolutely run their socks off and we dominated!

Kabaza gets a shout out too this month as he dictated the midfield as a Trequartista. He got around 4 or 5 assists this month.

We sit in 7th which I'm not too pleased about but then again maybe it's expected with us being in Europe? Anyways, it's pretty close and I'm sure come the end of the Europa League run we'll be able to dominate teams with fresh legs instead of constantly rotating and having to play players when their on like 80% condition.

Not expecting to get out the group but we've put ourselves in a respectable position, I'll be happy if we finish on 4 or 5 points.

I held several meetings with the board this month asking for improvements and I got a few of them. My asking for a feeder club was rejected though.

Wow, we've already got our junior coaching to an excellent level! On par with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Southampton and Arsenal! Obviously we wont get as good of players as them because Hungarian regens are considerably worse than English ones, however we may get a bright spark here and there. Maybe a first team player can emerge without having to develop first which we be amazing!

Our youth recruitment rises to Average and we're now as good at recruiting as everyone else in Hungary meaning we have the same chance of uncovering the next Hungarian mega star. Very pleased with the board accepting the youth movement as we already get pretty high potential players already, I can't wait to see the next intake!

In other news we got a large number of call-ups for october so I thought that i'd share the picture of who got called up.

View attachment 349038

As you can see we have 11 players called up for the Hungarian U19s as I'm the manager but I really do think they're the best we've got so I couldn't help myself! Also Hussein get's his 1st call up since joining us, however he did gain his first cap whilst as FC Inter Turku. I'm still waiting to see if my African trio of wonderkids get a call up but we'll see. Also good to see Brychta and Matousek consistantly get into the Czech U21s. Robin Risa also gets a U21 call up at the age of 16 where he could gain his 10th and 11th caps for the Norway U21s.

Good to have you back man! This was one of my favourite stories so glad you've started it up again.

Good to hear from you! Yeah, didn't really get the same feeling with other stories as I did with this one so it's back, cheers!

Very mixed month, but quite a positive one. Again we had an even more congested month than before with 8 games this month. (Doesn't help that I then have games on the 1st and 3rd of November...). My reserves did really well against ZTE.

In the league we got two wins, a draw and a loss which is OK. Gyor are still yet to lose a league game so a draw against them away from home is actually a really good result. Morne Xaba had a great game against Kaposvar (I'm not sure if I ever posted his stats, if someone could tell me if I did or not I'd appreciate it.) Insane Hussein was good this month too. Brychta dropped off a bit but that's because his usual fellow Czech Matousek was injured and couldn't supply him.

Kabaza got plenty of assists this month as well as last and currently sits on 7 in the league - around 11 in all competitions.

Loss to Marseille as definitely expected, so no disappointment there!

Climbed up a bit. The league is so close these days... Nice to see the league strengthening so much, makes it a lot more entertaining. Some really class players being brought into the league too.

View attachment 348912

So apparently Braga are awful... Still would like to get my target of 4 points before we exit the Europa League.

So I officially love my Chairman and Board!

View attachment 348905

These new facilities should finally help my players develop as currently barely anyone does at my current facilities, the only reason some of them are is because of the Europa League experience and as we know, that'll end soon. Love the attitude the Board are showing, hopefully they won't cancel the plans this time.

I also asked for a new contract for a new contract and they lowered their expectations meaning if I finish in 6th they will still be happy which is so good for my job security.

I also wanted to show you guys my affiliates.

View attachment 348902

All of them are parent clubs aside from Vác. We garner about £110k annually from these guys! Hopefully we'll be able to get some feeder clubs in foreign countries soon!
