The are indeed. YOu just follow the ta instrucion, player roles, plaer duties and use the shouts at the start of the match. In one screen though, you can see that I have cut and paste " move into channels" under the wingers. That means you chould tweak that.

Hey TheBetterHalf,

If you had to use a plug and play top team 4-2-3-1, how would you set it up?

Shiraz

can the 4-4-2 underdog tactic work in swedish div 2?

Naturally. Its an TC tactic limiting players. :) With this said, its not certain that ute an approach that suits YOUR team. Even if your an heavy underdog, it might to play the quick Villa tactic if having pace upfront etc. Its ALWAYS all about using the strength of the players.

Well, if you want to set it up, just us fluid, control, more romaing, more pressure, the rest is default ( i.e, the same as in the 442 man u)

- Use 2 DMC on support
- Use 2 Wingers on support
- Use Rooney ( Complete), Berbs ( TQ) an Chicarito( poacher) to their strength.
- Tweak their ( AMR/L and FC´s) marking and set it to Loose zonal so it always stays this way

- Play get ball forward
- Overlaps
- Wider
- Play out of defence
- Work ball into box

- Hassle ( this is where the tweak loose zonal comes in so that they actually track back, not using tight man marking hig up in the field)

The thing is, that this appraoch was mainly made for Bayern, and then it was a Fluid Counter with the get ball forward and wider, exploit shouts. With United though, we dio have the players to track back even though playing with a high mentality, hence we CAN play Control insted.

Off Topic: **** I dont have a spellcheck program anymore
Off Topic: I do have some really good wine though

In this tactic, you can actulaly use 2 Fcs that both like to come deep or 2 rather slow FCs

Cheers will give it a try. So both forwards have attack roles?

No, I would use Rooney as à comlete FC on support. Also, the TQ of Berbs Will be like à support role to, him coming deep and stops play.

hey TBH, the image for the last part of the top team 4-2-3-1 seems to be missing / isn't loading?

Looks like it has taken the weekend off. If its still à problem later today, I Will replace it( its basiclly counter with the more cautious shouts from the 2nd Control version)

JUVENTUS
DEEP & WIDE 4222
A TOPTEAM & MIDDLETEAM TACTIC

Notice ! The tactic is NOT uploaded. Instead, just follow the instructions as how to set it up. Any tweaks away from the pure TC-settings will be pointed out in the text and/or the screenies.

Disclaimer: This is in no way emulation.

Here, we will find not 2 or 3 but 4 approaches. When playing wih a top notch team, the aim will always be to BE IN CONTROL OF THE GAME, no matter how the opponent chose to play .The key is to see if your players are finding space tha tthey can exploit or of they have to create it them selfes, if the players need to sit deeper and counter or if you have to push up and gain control by hassle the opponent

As you also see, this approach is not for top teams only, but also for middleteams. If the formation as such had not been an attacking one, one could easily have used the more defensive approaches with underdogs as well and perhaps you can. I am certain though that a normal flatt 442 will still be the better choice

Also suited for Milan, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Man U, Chelsea, Stoke etc etc etc. Basiclly it works for most teams that have more complete DMcs and wingers that have atleast some teamwork in them

1st strategy: Attacking Possession

Although this is the main approach, you will probably need the other ones just as much. Perhaps not as B.Munich in your 4th season in the league but as Olympiakos or Benfica in the CL, you need to be more cautious then this. Here, we play a fluid control based approach and let our wingers provide lots of width and we hassle the opponent and at the same time we try to keep possession when getting back the ball. WE use the fullbacks to make overlaps

2nd Strategy Direct Counter

Here, we play on the counter, getting the ball forward. We puihs up the team and play more direct balls into channels for our attackers and wingers to run onto. This is a way to exploit either the gap between the opponenets attakcing winers and their deep sitting defenders and/or their attakocmng fullbakcs, playing the ball over the top. If the opponents its with the while team behind the ball, this appraoch is fruitless

3rd Strategy: A BALANCED APPROACH ( WITHIN THIS ATTACKING FORMATION)

Here, we try to sit with more men behind the ball, retaining possession and keeping the ball in the team. Obvious, we will still burst at goal and since we play with 4 attacking players ( by position), this will happen often. The fullbacks will not join the attacks but instead move up with the rest of the team and keep the shape. We keep dribbling to a minimum and play a shorter passing game

4th Strategy Cautious Counter

Here, we are playing much more cautious, perhaps an approach that will mainly be used away to really good teams or when wanting to grind out a result.

Some results with Chelsea & Man U ( same save)
