I am such a ****

The already won game
3 points is 3 points

We have already won, so whats the point of keep pushing up, making runs into channels, having the Wingbacks making runs down the flanks ?. Sure, we might win 7-0 but is it not better to sub a few players and tell the team to play more CAUTIOUS? After all, there will be a game within the next days and its better to be fit for that one to. As the players where not complecent or the opponent being fired up, it was a safe call to switched from the ATTACKING possesion version to the CAUTIOUS one, subbing the most important players.

Have you any thoughts on PPMs for the team to have aside from those mentioned in the OP....just interested to know if you utilize them.

Also I've won the league with east stirling with a number of games to go in the SPL....thought I'd test out the Attack, Cautious and Counter formations....

Lost 3-2 away to rangers having been 2-0 up.....drew 3-3 with Dundee United having been 2-0 up...started rangers game with counter and dundee united with cautious......

I think my full backs aren't up to the task of playing as wingbacks so I'm thinking to move both to fullbacks......in terms of arrows would you have them back on cautious.....none on counter......and forward to the half way line or just in line with the DMC?

First team FBs:

DL: From
DR: Cousin/Dalmau

Backup:

DL Zivkovic
DR Belaud

Future signing:

Van der berg

Thoughts?

I wouuld use the tactics just the way they are. It sounds more like a man-management issue as you seem to loose games at half time. What are your reactions at HT ( both tactical and managerial)

I read on the forum that no matter what opponent its the following:

Aggresively -> expect a win

Half time if not 5 - 0 up then aggressive -> top option

If someone reacts badly and performance is above 7 then passionately very happy with performance

Else passionately have faith if no reaction or less than 7

Full time passionately well done

Using this nearly all players get green and fired up/motivated....those that don't nearly always react positively to the passionately route.

How do you go about team talks? Wolfgang style? What works for you?

Reverted back to my old system of team talks.....1-0 up against celtic right on half time....then after following my original system....lots of focused and motivated players and a goal to make it 2-0 in the first few minutes of the second half!

Edit
----

Won 2-0......this despite going a man down in the last half hour......switched to the 10 man formation and the team played really well...nice and solid...

Also note that stupidly I'd moved the full backs a couple of days before the match so the formation familiarity went way down.....shows how good the formation really is!!!

Great tactic thanks for sharing it :) never used a tactic which has been so consistent before this is top notch. Just like to ask though any suggestions for my Liverpool team BetterHalf? or any1 that has used Liverpool before. Just started a new game and have a team like this at the min

GK - Reina
LWB - Enrique
RWB - Johnson
CB's - Agger, Skrtel
DMC - Lucas
MC's - Gerrard, Allen
RW - Downing
LW - Assaidi
ST - Suarez

Rotating through younger players etc see if i can break any1 into 1st team but basically any major areas with my team you think could use a better player?

Gearing up for the new season and I've utterly smashed pre season with around 30 goals scored and only 1 conceded....played forest, sunderland and stoke and beat them comfortably.

As in the OP the corners are semi exploiting...I seem to score a fair few from them but given that I seem to winning 20+ corners per game, this isn't surprising. Football is great to watch and I'm getting used to the 3d extended highlights mode which has improved my results. That coupled with reverting to my old teamtalks sees the team concede less and hold onto leads.

Will report back with more later in the season!

Awesome work!

what can I say - simply amazing set IMO

Even not so surprising, knowing the level of TBH.

Decided to try it with Reading TOO - as TBH herself. Predicted dead last, as you probably know, the situation after some games is as follows:

View attachment 275944

Signed just two cheap players (Modise and Mate Simao, as the team really needed added depth in centre midfield), but that's all.

I'm assured already that this tactic works with EVERY team. The only thing you need to do is a) understand what each one of them actually does; b) use them accordingly - it means, right one in right time.

As I'm enjoying following the games either in full mode or with extended highlights and love to micromanage my team, it's surely much easier to really see and understand what's going on in the pitch and make needed changes accordingly.

The (already near) future of my Reading team will be really interesting: if and when will we be treated no underdogs anymore??? It's the next challenge also for me to notice this point and make again right choices also with TBH's formations.

Few months into my Blackpool save and I'm doing really well so far with your tactics. I'm top of the championship and loving life :P.
I just beat Spurs 2-1 at White Hart Lane with the cautious tactic in the capital one cup.

It is possible to have a way of seeing the match analysis screen as a widget? I find its easier to see defensive line of the opposition when I load up the average position option. I find it hard to judge the opposition back line on the radar etc.

No, there is not as the analyzing screen have to load each you open it.

Just to confirm to everyone that this tactic is the real deal! Made a fantastic start to the campaign with East Stirling in the EPL after winning it last year using Raikan's 442 classic formation. It looks like this year goals will not be hard to come by as my team is on fire. Having a clear strategy of using the cautious formation when your unsure of an opposition either home or away makes playing so much easier!

I'm employing the fast striker approach with my team and get plenty of one on ones, although I need to perhaps train my strikers better to convert these more. I've spent very little, instead going for youth and the average age of my team is ridonkulously low!

I reiterate, for anyone still using commentary and match stats for their matches....switch to what TBH instructs in the OP. Not only do you get to watch entertaining football, but your ability to read the game increases massively.

Also for those struggling with the opponents defensive line....just go to the analysis page and click on the opposition team button and then average positions. This clearly shows the opposition back line and can ensure making split decisions regarding switching to counter so much easier.

Hats off to a truly wonderful tactical set! Stuffing rangers 3-0 at home with cautious was so satisfying!

I have yet to use them properly, however, I used the control or cautious and won 2:0 against a better team!

I did not create that many chances nor 1 ccc, however, it was the first game I used it with and it was only half fluid!

TBH is a great tactic creator and as mcgbun mentioned above, these seem like quality tactics and everyone should use them and READ the OP as its well written out and explains a few things nicely..

If I was not using my own TBH I would probably be using these!

I might use all 3 next season in my story! will see (maybe 2)

Yes. Using the set this way makes it so much easier to overachieve. I am currently playing with a Swedish team and as always, I focus on playing to my strength and ability. While my players/team will never to able to compete with German, Italien, English, Spanish ( etc) teams in terms of technique, they are still as fit as those. Pace, Strength, Agility, Tackling etc. So basiclly, I train my players from a young age in the Strength, Agility and Tactics categories and use the more direct approaches, Counter and Overload.

Hey TBH,

I would like to use one of your tactic sets with my Man United save I just started. I was going to use the 4-2-3-1 (MC) tactic of yours but after the rave reviews this one is getting, I thought I'd check if you have a 4-2-3-1 tactic set like this one that I can try?

Regards
Shiraz
