***THE BETTER HALFS TACTIC UPLOAD & DISCUSSION

This is a very confusing thread...

How is that( i.e, how can I make it better) ?. This is my tactic Center thread. IN the first post, you get links to all my tactics. Click them and they will take you to them. Its also a help thread where users can ask for help regarding tactics.

what type of striker would you use for barnet?

The best you can get ? :)

Seriously though, if wanting to climb the ladder, then you more likely to use Countet, hence a quick poacher. This is also the kind of player that is the easiest to get down the leagues.

ive got a collection of them, a few on loan. but im thinking collins john might be the best ive got. i've been using overload at the minute with nicolas bignall on loan from reading, whos a poacher and is scoring a fair few. and we've won a few. ill try the counter for a few games and see if i get better results.

I am actually using the tactics from the bottom of the original post. I didn't actually read it properly I suppose and just guessed they were the ones designed for FM2013. I suppose it doesn't matter because even though they are designed for FM2012 it is still definitely working for me.

I am currently in Febuary and still top of the English Premier League with Everton (1st season with no money spent). Ive got passed the period where I thought I may just be being lucky to actually really admiring the tactic. I have slightly switched how I use it from my post before which I will explain.

I start with the attacking possession against all sides apart from Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, & Arsenal at home. After 20minutes I see if we are dominating possession and how many chances the opponenets are having, if the opponents have had 4-5 chances in the first 20minutes and I am dominating possession I switch to cautious (so that I keep the possession advantage but dont concede as many chances against). If the opposition is winning the possession battle (even if its 50-50) I will switch to counter attack, I do this often and counter attack is when I have scored the most amount of goals.

I then review the game after 45 minutes, 60 minutes, and 75 minutes in a similar format. I dont tend to switch even from attacking if I am dominating the match. I will often switch to counter attack in the last 30-20minutes if I am 1 goal up and its a tight game.

Against the above mentioned teams at home, and also top 8 teams away from home I will start with the counter attack tactic. This is very secure defensively and its actually a bonus if the opposition control possession because it gives you more chance of scoring through a counter-attack. I very rarely switch from this during the game however if I go behind I may switch to attacking, also if the opposition is dominating possession, creating a lot of chances, and stopping me creating chances I will switch to cautious possession.

I can't see why this wouldnt work with Everton and not other top 8 sides. The AI finds it nearly impossible to pick up the whole 7 def midfield, midfield, and offensive midfield players therefore creating oppurtunities isn't a problem. Defensively the attacking possession can have holes but this is usually matched with creating more than the opposition. However a good keeper is important Howard is averaging 7.3 for me at the moment and had a few MOM.

I would encourage anyone who isn't have success with the FM2013 designed tactics to try the ones at the bottom of the original post in the format I am using.

You are using the set exactly as intended, right from the start of the season until where are today. As this is such a good explaination, I will include it the OP. For all those reading this, remember that the key here is to actually pause the game every 15 minutes and remember how the flow has been , look the stats etc.

Cheers

I'm not sure why it's confusing, I just think it is..

Maybe add a description on the headers, (For example; 12.2.2 UPLOADED PLUG & PLAY TACTICS, TRAINING SCHEDULES etc)

I appreciate the thread as it gives me a variety of tactics to chose from for my FM save, and I am currently using one (which is going very good at the moment) Keep up the good work.

You mean like a description of the tactics found under my headers( as they are already there), directly under the links ?

Also, which tactic would you advise me to use on my FM save, i'm currently Swansea in the championship as I got sacked from another team and these got relegated, As you can guess I'm not very good so any advice from you would be great,

Thanks!

No what i meant was, add an explanation what 'Team Tactics' and what do '12.2.2 UPLOADED PLUG & PLAY TACTICS' mean?

Well I am always very sceptical of people when they highlight how good a certain tactic is as I never have the same success. However using the tactic in the way I have highlighted above with Everton definitely works. Won the league in the 1st season of FM2013 with them (with a game to spare). I would encourage anyone using the tactic to always have the key highlights on during the game (this is the first time I have done this for a full season as I am impatient but it has really helped to get a feel of when to switch and how each tactic feels) and get a good feel for the tactics and therefore a good understanding of when to switch between them during a game.

Convert the tactic into Classic Mode. Just remember that the arrows are only à visible presentation on the formation screen Of the players settings regarding their tendency to make runs from deep and has nothing to do with where they aim their run.

Hi good sir!, thanks for your answer, my next question is, how can I move the arrows, it says right drag, but when i click with the right button and drag it tells me "Remove from Position" or "Player Instructions" so I cannot move the arrows :S

great tactics, but still got some minor questions,

1\ why is that i cant change the player role for a player in the tactic book screen after using the tactic in this thread. i notice there is a capital C before the name of your tactic, does that mean its a classic tactic so that some features are not applied?

2\ i cant make shout instructions during a game after using this tactic, the same reason as question 1?

thx a lot man!

You can't . As written, they are just a presentation of thee runs from deep.

I only use your tactic from the first game of the season until the last game. I'm managing Atalanta and the date is : 2018 ( my 6th season with Atalanta) So far my best performance was seria runner up title and 2017 euro cup winner ( ex uefa ). With your tactic i won seria A with 6 points difference, i had played semi final in the champions league and lost to liverpool because of idiot lamela missed so many clear chances and i won the italian cup. To sum up, your tactic is the best one at least for my team.

Looking for 4-1-2-3 tactic for FM13

TBH, I know i'm being lazy and not reading through all pages, but do you have a new 4-1-2-3 tactic for FM13 ?.any chance if you do you can send me a link ?.
