Really good start to the season there. As good teams starts to play rather defensive against you, dont underestimate the impact of Overload when playing at home, especially for getting that early goal.
 
Agree with TBH on that point. I was playing against Wolves, and went down 1-0 after 19 seconds. Out of instinct I went to Overload, and 2 minutes later it was 1-1-went on to win 4-1. During the team talk at HT (when it was still 1-1) I emphasised also the fact to make sure they played for the fans and the motivation/fired-up levels for every player went green
 
I'm loving the interplay this formation gives.. superb.

dropped it back to flat back 4 though as my CB aren't that quick but lucky the RB has good decisions in getting forward etc..

Neymar is having a fieldday on the left though and the play between Silva (AMC) - Aguero and Tevez upfront is awesome, aguero dropping into where silva is when he roams and creating space for litte darting runs from the overlapping RB and tevez cutting in is ace..

That's super. I am mainly using hardworking players as winger so here I don't mind them getting ratings tc. They simply play for the team.

Those results are great, well done !
As we play pretty aggressive ( closing down, hard tackle), we do get our fair share of bookings.
 
Hello TBH!

I've started a new save in a mid-table team in Portugal (Vitória de Guimarães). I choose your pack to play because I think it's very complete and offers different solutions. I've played 2 games and I've lost 1 (the opp keeper was the MOM) and win another. My idea is with the top 4 teams start more on the counter or maybe cautious and with the other teams start always on attack, read the game and see what is needed. (i'm based on what is explained in the opening post)

My question is about the match prep. I've set the general focus to "balanced" and mix the other between "attacking movement" and "defending positioning".
What do you suggest?
 
Been stalking this thread for a couple of weeks since FM13 came out, deciding to stick to 12 for the time being but hopefully I'll start a save on 13 shortly, I usually play as Arsenal and don't make any transfers so I could be really lacking but my team should look something like:

GK: Szczesny
WBR: Sagna
DC: Mertesacker
DC: Vermaelen
WBL: Gibbs
DMC: Arteta
MC: Diaby
MC: Ramsey (Wilshere when he's back)
AMR: Walcott
AML: S. Cazorla
STC: Giroud

Although I'm doubting my midfield there, possibly put Cazorla back to CM instead of Diaby and play Podolski on AML. Any thoughts?
 
Hi TBH, maybe a stupid question.. but i need to download the tactics from the link + the cautious at the end of your OP rigt?

I would probably focus on getting à world class DMC and use Arteta in MC, using Carzola upfront. This way, you get real power in the center Of the park.
 
Hi. I just played away against Spurs, playing as Swansea. Having good control of the game and leading 2-1, Spurs get the equalizer from a pass into space that ended in a goal. What I am not sure about is why my central defender did not try to intercept a pass that looked like he would control. He kind of froze and did not react before their striker had reacted and ran onto the ball. Could this be down to my central defender not being able to position himself and looking quite stupid on the animation of the goal?

I've uploaded a pkm of the match. If anybody has got the time to have a look I would appreciate it. It's the last goal of the game.

This is a Match Engine issue where player react to slow to t-balls so I would not worry about it. Hopefully the next patch will will it with any knock-on effects.
 
That was with the two strikers with AMC and AMR behind, a single Box to Box CM, WBL and DMC, and the RB and two CBs. I've got into the challenges now, so unfortunatley your tactics wont open. Instead, I've mirrored the roles and positions you suggested into a new file on there, and completed The Saviour Cometh with ease, wasn't as consistent as before but won 70% to survive so it obviously does translate.

I have only played 10 matches with My Forest save ( using à Narrow 271 that is not yet uploaded) and 4 matches with City using this one. So far results and versionpicking are the same.
