Obviously with us gaining promotion we needed to improve the squad, we had an increased wage budget so we were able to bring in a player of a higher quality.
Although, we already have players who were good enough to play in the Wanda Plaza Super League, so we didn't bring in too many players in case we upset the rhythm of the team.
We did however target our weakest positions and bring in players that will directly improve our team.
Here's the players we brought it...

Last season we had a strong front four, however when one of them got injured we didn't really have anyone of quality to replace them with.
Feng Gang now means we can do this, he can also play in a range of different positions which is very beneficial to the squad.

This is a very good transfer for us, he's a very good player at this level but he wasn't quite getting in the team at Beijing so I decided to snap him up.
He'll also go straight into our team.

I can't believe no-one else had picked him up, his physical stats are unbelievable and perfect for the Box To Box Midfielder role.
We were able to get him on great wages as well because he's a young player, and no-one else was interested in him.

Really happy with this signing, he's been brought in a back-up at right back and also as a utility player.
His versatility will come in very useful this season. As we've now made a step up in quality, there was inevitably going to be some players to move on.
We also lost some player who weren't happy with not getting first team football, I didn't want them affecting the team morale so i just decided to let their contracts run out.
Here's who we let go...

(Loved finding out this happened while in Wuhan!)
As we brought in a few new players we had to analyse our players and figure out the best way to play, it took us a few games to figure out our best first XI as we now have more quality players.
Here's our starting XI and Team Instructions...

We looks to play a very quick and direct style of play, most of our play is directed towards the wings and looking to get lots of crossed in for our striker.
I feel it's a very balanced set-up, our midfield pairing work perfectly together as our Box-To-Box midfielder looks to dominate the game as our Deep-Lying Playmaker looks to dictate the tempo and give it our more attacking and direct players.
The combination of a Deep-Lying Forward and Shadow Striker also works really well, the Deep-Lying Forward drops deep into space which leaves space for our Shadow Striker to exploit and grab goals arriving late into the box.
We also did a tour of South Korea as I looked to test ourselves against some top-teams in another league
Here's the fixtures...

As you can see we did extremely well, The K League is better in terms of reputation than our league so to beat some of their top teams is very encouraging for the upcoming season.
