Marek Hamsik wrote a tweet saying " AC Milan" and then deleted it moments later and many people ow believe he is close to joining Milan.

Bit too inconsistent for my liking but top-notch on his day... Plus its good to see AC Milan going for fresher, young blood in Hamsik. Hope he does well if he is going there
 
Gaston Ramirez is close to sealing his 16m move to Liverpool. Also rumored that Cavani is being scouted by Liverpool too.

Hmmm, being linked to a left back can't be a good sign with all the speculation over Baines. Think he's gone, but I don't really want him to go to United if I'm honest - not this season anyway

I'm going to be honest-I've given up deciding wether or not he's leaving now. Sky journo is saying the deal is very close to being finalised (£16-£20 million), but the transfer could only go through once Park left. Then there's Moyes saying there's been no approach, board member saying there's no approach. Guess I'll have to wait for something concrete-hence avoiding twitter
 
I heard that Baines is closed to seal a move to Man Utd? Is it true?

I think it's most likely lazy journalism or it could be to get his ban over quicker?
 
I thought it was a ban covering all competitions, seeing as it was given to Barton by the FA, Correct me if I am wrong.
 
So, with Ron Vlaar on his way to Villa, apparently we're also in for Snodgrass too, because we like stripping Leeds of their valuable assets. Also, Alan Hutton has been given the number 28 and has been left out of the preseason tour, so one would assume he's on his way out.

Lambert's doing well so far, very well indeed.

That's what I thought. Bans are for all English competitions aren't they?

Although, I guess his ban would be over quicker if he was loaned to a lower league because they play games earlier/ more frequently.. That could be the plan.

Yeah, bans are for all competitions. I don't think it would be to get through quicker, they don't seem that fussed. Looks like he's already lost the captaincy to Park apparently. Might just be to get him out the club with a view to a transfer. Or it could just be a lazy story.

Trying to get rid of Hutton. Immediately makes him more successful that Eck in my eyes, regardless of what happens next.

Yeah, I think the ban would be over about a month earlier if he played in a lower league. As Championship and League 1 play during the week at the start of the season, Premier League don't.

Ah yeah, forget about the earlier start. But who would take him to just sit in the stands for 10 games?
 
The plan maybe to get him back earlier...remains to be seen wether or not he has the temprament to make sure he doesn't screw up again and delay his return further
