Trying to get rid of Hutton. Immediately makes him more successful that Eck in my eyes, regardless of what happens next.

Def. Remains to be seen whether this Matt Lowton kid can step up to the plate - it's a big responsibility - but he surely can't be worse than Hutton.

Football transfer rumours: Theo Walcott to Liverpool? | Football | guardian.co.uk

Shop's own-brand tea bags. Three Colours Red's second album. Any T-shirt in a size without at least one X in front of its L. The Mill is no stranger to the immediately regretted purchase. And neither are Liverpool. The Reds' unceremonious flogging of Carroll – to anyone who's willing to buy rather than borrow – will raise funds for an unlikely £15m bid for Arsenal's Theo Walcott. Brendan Rodgers is "desperate" to sign the Gunners' winger, reckons the Sun, but he'll face competition from Chelsea and Paris St-Germain.
In wonderkid news, Manchester City are ready to beat off competition from Arsenal and Tottenham for the signature of Caen's 17-year-old striking sensation M'Baye Niang. An offer of £6m would persuade the French side to do business, but any less would only provoke the wrath of Caen.

In wondertoddler news, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa are forming an orderly queue in front of Birmingham's 13-year-old Foday Nabay. Blues will be due compensation of around £65,000 for the central midfielder who was born in 1998. 1998!

Internazionale have offered Julio César to Tottenham. The goalkeeper has apparently been told he will not be first choice at San Siro next season. Spurs were keen on Lyon's Hugo Lloris, but may have had their heads turned by the Brazillian stopper's chiselled jaw.

Manchester City are "monitoring" Celtic's Victor Wanyama. City want the Kenyan midfielder to provide back up for Yaya Touré, what with Garry Barry crocked and Nigel de Jong eyeing the exit. Liverpool, Newcastle and QPR are also interested in the 21-year-old.

Manchester United will offer £10m to Everton for Leighton Baines. Everton want £15m. United won't pay it. Everton say that's the price, take it or leave it. United say fine, be like that, we're off. Everton say now don't be hasty, this is quality goods is this, takes good free-kicks and everything. United say we'll think about it.

West Ham are edging closer to a £5m move for Sochaux striker Modibo Maïga. Stoke and Reading are loitering with intent should the deal collapse.

Aston Villa are on the brink of an £8m deal for Feyenoord centre-back Ron Vlaar.

Stoke have been told they will have to pay £2.2m if they want USA! USA! USA! midfielder Geoff Cameron of Houston Dynamo. That's £500,000 more than Stoke are willing to pay.

Luka Modric is close to a £30m move to Real Madrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ...

Cardiff will tell Fulham to do one with their £2.5m offer for Peter Whittingham.

Leeds want Brighton's Craig Mackail-Smith.

Villa need to pull out of that deal, Vlaar has always looked dodgy whenever I've seen him.

So, with Ron Vlaar on his way to Villa, apparently we're also in for Snodgrass too, because we like stripping Leeds of their valuable assets. Also, Alan Hutton has been given the number 28 and has been left out of the preseason tour, so one would assume he's on his way out.

Lambert's doing well so far, very well indeed.

Again??!! FFS. I reaaaaaaaaally hope you don't, since he and McCormack are pretty much the team these days T_T

EDIT - Spelling.

And Oscar's move to Chelsea can be officially confirmed, an agreement in principle with both clubs. Rumored fee of 25m, a Brazilian transfer record

Swansea reported to have a £1.7m bid for Michu accepted. With that, and De Guzman, some very astute work from Laudrup.

Few rumours going round tabloids fergie has told friends/people that united are top to sign van persie for 20m due to city unable to sell players and release funds/wages and rvp prefering to play for united rather than juve.

Rumours on the southampton forums are that they have signed Paulo Gazzaniga from Gillingham also confirmed today is the signing of Nathaniel Clyne from Crystal Palace

"However, Juventus believe a bid of around £28m may tempt Liverpool to negotiate."

Good luck with that

Wasn't long ago everyone on this forum said that Milan were a much bigger club than Juve... Shows what people know about other leagues apart from the EPL on here.

Not sure how you have come to that flawed conclusion, and i doubt it was everyone. Nor does "big" come into it. Milan's problems are not to with how big they are, but down to their long standing financial issues, especially in regards to FFPR. When you have problems that severe, being big wont save you.

Don't see why Liverpool would want to sell Suarez, unless he wants Champions League football...

Considering Marotta thinks Jovetic is well out of reach at 30m euros, struggle to see how they will get Suarez from a side even less inclined to sell than Fiorentina

All these stories just keep going round and round in circles: Juve turn from RVP to Jovetic | Football Italia

As you said only concrete information from Juve has been what Marotta said the other day, Juve are well run and they won't break their bank balance going for these players.

Quite. Unless he is throwing up an elaborate smokescreen, its unlikely that he will get either, though they did have a £7.5m bid for RVP rejected.
