Sorry for my bad english. Is there only a schedule for youth players, players over 30 years and part time players?

Right, I tried multiquoting everyone, but FM-base is pretty boned atm. Still can't upload my Part time scheds! Grrr! Might have to wait for the weekend for them. anyway. From above.

Could use a part time training program ^^

Yes, it will be out sooooon! :)

Hi Dunc, Do you have any schedules for players in the main team that are aged 18-21? Or should I just use the youth schedules on them?

Use the youth schedules on players that are on youth contracts, then, when they are on full time contracts or in the 1st team, use the normal Medium Schedules on them, that and play them every so often. That's the best way of improving them

Sorry for my bad english. Is there only a schedule for youth players, players over 30 years and part time players?

No. There is currently 3 schedules. One is for Normal players, your every day training schedule for your players, that is the Medium Workload schedules in the OP. Then there are some youth training schedules, and some schedules for your older players.

Hope that helps. :) Please give me some feed back if you're using these, some screenshots of player improvement or anything. :)

Dunc, top job so far, and am currently only using the medium schedules as I'm having a pop at my own youth schedules at the moment, but they do seem to be working.

Any chance of a pre-season schedule for both "normal" and youth?

Yeah I am working on the pre-season scheds atm.

Perssisco, unless their moral is dropping loads, I normally don't do much about if, if it is, just drop the intensity down a bit. :)

I will upload my part time scheds when the site allows me to. :)

hey dunc, great job on your schedules. ive been using them since fm11.. i have a suggestion for you though. have you thought of making schedules for a particular style of play. for example a schedule for teams that play possession football which would focus on the key attributes like passing, composure, anticipation, decisions etc. Also not just for possession style of play. there could also be schedules for a counter attacking team or even the aggressive and long ball stoke city style.
what i think is that this schedules could be used during pre-season along with a normal physical pre-season training schedule.
Also it could be used for new signings to get them used to the teams style of play.
i would have loved to attempt this but im completely clueless on how to make training schedules and that sucks because i enjoy creating my own things.
Great job on your schedules again we all appreciate it.

Help needed

Hi Dunc,

Awesome job on the schedules so far, have used them with great 'enjoyance' in FM 2011 and using them atm in 2012.
But I have one tiny problem: I am sort of going crazy over all those different positions and I really can't see which ones to use and why.

Is there a chance you could name the one or two BASIC/GENERAL ones for each position (for the medium and youth schedule) so that I can just choose between two basic ones for the different players and their positions?
For example if you have a centre midfielder the basic ones are: Centre mid att and Centre mid def ??
for the 'fullback position': Fullback sup and Fullback def. ??

I really hope you (or someone else) could explain that to me because I would really love to use them the way they are meant to be.. Now I am just not sure.
I hope it's not too much of work / a hassle to name the basic schedules for the different 'medium and youth options' but it would be greatly appreciated!

Keep on the good work and thanks in advance, hope you can help out!

To add to this post: could you also make a (youth and normal) schedule in the future with just the basic positions covererd? I think there are some people (like me) that don't go that deep at the training aspect of the game, but I guess if you give a small list with the basic schedules for the basic positions (see quoted post) the 'problem' is solved already

If your are using a tactic created in Tactic Creator then the players positons are already there i.e Advanced Playmaker Attack, but if your are using the classic made then roles are very difficult to define. Otherwise Tactical Thereoms '10 can be downloaded here FM-Britain - Tactical Theorems ’10 | Football Manager 2012. It explains a lot for the tactically inept (of which I personally excel in - being inept ).

If your are using the classic mode I would suggest asking the experts - The Better Half, Jp Woody, Raikon etc...... or Dunc of course.

Mind you the basic schedules are already installed in the game. Many don't bother with specialist training

Attacking Midfielders schedule (passing, finishing, long shots) please!!!

Hi Dunc. Amazing work! Love it... One thing I have experienced, is that some of my players on 30+ schedules, are complaing about too light training.

WTF dude? I want use this trainning, but 40 shedulles? ****...

Can u explain each one of them?

Tks

What?! all 40?! no.

Basically, if you want to use them but have no idea what you're doing, put Goalkeepers in 'Goalkeeper', put Centre backs in 'General CB', Full backs in 'Full back support', Wing backs in 'Wingback support', DMC's in 'Anchorman', MC's in 'Box to Box', Wide mids and wingers in 'wingers', AMC's in 'Adv Playmaker Sup', Tall strikers in 'Target man' or 'complete ST', small fast strikers in 'Poacher', any other strikers in 'Adv Forward'.

Hopefully that sorts you out.

Part times up tomorrow I recon, if I get time anyway.

Ur a ****, ur schedz are ****, so **** a beaver

Not really. :p
I've been using your schedules in FM11 and they're pretty good. I look forward to using them in FM12, which I'll start playing in a few days. I'm in 2017-18 on my FM11 save and I want to see how far I can take it :)

Look forward to using your schedules, and thank you very much for developing youth schedules and 30+ schedules. Sounds like a brilliant idea. Can you please share what your assumptions or guidelines were when creating youth/30+ schedules...why not use the same schedules for 30+ as everyone else?

Forgive me if I am mistaken. I feel I should point out that SI may have changed how training and player development works. So please take this with a pinch of salt, I have played almost 5 quick seasons into the game and I am starting to get the brunt of a few problems, but before I do so. Compliments:

1. This training is AMAZING.
View attachment 203545View attachment 203546View attachment 203547View attachment 203548

Those are all within 5 years on my "let's test this training schedule out" save. As you can see. It works. Phenomenally.

2. The depth of training options has allowed me to training youth players in exactly the way I want. Which for some reason, makes their 'change position on pitch' seem more effective. I.E. making Chris Smalling a wingback. So kudos there.

But the problems:

1. The players seem extremely susceptible to injury now. For example, I had Evans, Evra and Fletcher injured A LOT when I know that they're one of the least susceptible to injury. Now, I am not blaming here, because I have no evidence (neither have I played a 'non-Dunc' game), but it seems as though something is wrong.

2. The training is terribly inconsistent. Even the most professional players (who turn up to training etc) seem to drop 2 points in SEVERAL attributes in one month, gain 1-2 back, but then drop again and this goes on...

Once again, I am not blaming, because the aggregate result is that (as you've seen) players improve ridiculous amounts. If the two things I have are attributable to other issues in the game or just how the (if new) training engine works, I am sorry.

I love the training.
But it has its issues that can get frustrating.

Hey, thanks for the screenshots and feedback, glad to see it is working for you to an extent. I will try and explain the problems you are having. :)

I think, in general, injuries are very.. urm.. common this year. I mean, they were quite common last year, but this year even more so. I have done saves with my training, which has led to lots of injuries, and then I have had saves where players have suffered minimal injuries. I actually started a game yesterday with Newcastle, and I decided to leave the training till January, so I could see if it had any difference, on injuries, to when I started a game with Newcastle when I was giving these schedules a final test. I lost Tiote for 4 months, Cayabe for 3 weeks (twice), Steven Taylor for 2 months and Ba for 2 months, and this was in the period of July-January. Those were just the long ones, I had countless 2 week and under injuries. In comparison to the game I played with my training on, I imagine the amount of injuries encountered was less on the one I used my training, but as that was a few weeks ago that could be a bit of clouded judgement on my part, but in the testing phase, 3 games holidayed 5 years, I think the injuries were relatively consistent with games I had played with other teams before developing my training at all. I might actually run a test on the weekend of a season, ones with identical teams and tactics, one with the training on, one with it off, and see what the injury results are.

I know it's a problem, I will look to see if I can change it, but I think in general injuries are just a common issue within the game this year.

2. The training is terribly inconsistent. Even the most professional players (who turn up to training etc) seem to drop 2 points in SEVERAL attributes in one month, gain 1-2 back, but then drop again and this goes on...

Hmm, I have rarely seen many drops, and it does sound rather.. odd. Can you post screen shots? Are they after the player has been injured? What time of year is it? How old are they? Do you know their CA/PA, maybe the points are being redistributed depending on what schedule you have them on? If you could post some more info on that it would be great. :)

Once again, I am not blaming, because the aggregate result is that (as you've seen) players improve ridiculous amounts. If the two things I have are attributable to other issues in the game or just how the (if new) training engine works, I am sorry.

Glad to see it has worked for you. I will try and work on those issues for you, but I don't think the injury one is an easy one to fix, if you can at all. The other one, if you can provide me with some more info, I will happily look into it.

Thanks for the feed back, it's been really good.

Finally going to get the Part Time ones up today. :)

How training of the Pre - Season did you use Dunc's? Good **** stuff. regards from Poland:)

When i should stop using Pre-Season schedule and begin to using normal schedule ? 1-2 week before first game ?
