Conroy Leaves United!

On the 6th of November Manchester United manager Jordan Conroy resigned from his post after a disagreement with the board. It is believed to be about the new tactic Conroy is using this season and the board believe that United aren't winning important games because of it. In truth United haven't been doing that badly but have been losing more games than normal at this stage of the season. The fans are disappointed with the board's reaction but can understand Conroy's reason for leaving. Neither the board nor Conroy were available for comment but people are going to be asking where Conroy will be going next. Top clubs around the world will be put on alert as Conroy will be looking to get back into football as soon as possible. Not only has Conroy left but after his departure there was a mass exodus of staff from United, who now have their work cut out to get something out of the season.

November

Thought I'd leave United, getting a bit tired of them really. Not bad really with the results, beat West Ham away and the draw away to Lazio means we qualified for the knockout rounds with two games to go. Not sure who I'm going to go to next, I'll wait until a quality team comes up. I'll probably stay around Europe, around Spain, Italy, Germany etc and hopefully something will come up soon.

West Ham 0 vs. 1 Man United

Champions League Group C
Lazio 1 vs. 1 Man United

NOOOOOOO, can't believe you have left already thought it might have been another season or two before you left. I suppose you have won everything possible though.

Cant wait to see where you end up next :)

I know but I wanted to get as many trophies as I can so I thought it would be best to move on.

And cheers mate, next update should be up soon :)

Conroy Joins Inter!

Only two weeks after leaving United, Conroy has found himself a new job. He has joined 2010 Champions League winners Inter Milan, who are somewhat struggling in the league. Midway through November they are sitting in 9th place, far behind the league leaders. Conroy will have his work cut out if he wants to win something this season but Inter are in two cup competitions, the Europa League and the Italian Cup. The Inter fans were delighted with the appointment saying "We are pleased that the board has managed to secure such a successful manager to take us forward. Hopefully he can turn our season around and make it one to remember". We caught up with Jordan shortly after the appointment was announced. "I'm very pleased to be put in charge of such a fantastic club, I feel I can be very successful here. Things haven't been going well for them this season but with a bit of belief, we can have a great season". Lets see if he can work his magic here, or if he is just a one club man.

November (continued)

I'm delighted that the Inter job came up as I feel with the players I have I can get a couple of trophies out of them. Not the easiest start in the world, away to Sampdoria and at home to rivals Roma but we dealt with them well. On the basis of those games we should be in for a good season. Obviously taking Inter over in November I can't bring anyone in yet so I'll have to wait until January to add to the squad but I feel I can do well with the players I have at the moment. Hopefully I can bag a few more trophies this season! (Just so everyone knows, I've changes the format so the numebr in brackets is the minute they scored rather than how many, just in case anyone though Weiss scored 80 goals lol xD)

Serie A
Sampdoria 0 vs. 1 Inter
Weiss(80)

Inter 2 vs. 0 Roma
Forlan(15), Mirallas(76)

Game of the Month
Sampdoria 0 vs. 1 Inter

For the first game in charge, we did well to get a winning goal after being a man down for twenty minutes.

Conroy unbeaten in charge of Inter

Conroy seems to be settling into his new job nicely with seven wins out of seven so far, including tough games such as away to AC Milan and Juventus. With the previous manager winning the first four group games in the Europa League and Conroy winning the two he's played, Inter have qualified for the knockout round where they will play AS Nancy Lorraine. Five wins out of five in the league has improves Inter's position to 5th and will try to build on that in the coming months, and maybe mount a title challenge.

Europa League 1st Knockout Round Draw
AS Nancy Lorraine vs. Inter Milan

Italian Cup 1st Round Draw
Frosinone vs. Inter Milan

December

First full month in charge and it went pretty well really. I was expecting to qualify from the group as Brondby, Rangers and Hoffenheim weren't the most difficult teams in the world and the draw has been kind to me for the knockout round. I was especially pleased with the wins over Juventus and Milan and hopefully I can build on that next month. Also next month I have a chance to bring in my own players and I will probably be in the market for a striker as non of the ones I have are scoring goals consistently.

Europa League Group A
Rangers 0 vs. 2 Inter
Sneijder(38), Wijnaldum(72)

AC Milan 1 vs. 3 Inter
Mirallas(75, 81), Weiss(86)

Inter 1 vs. 0 Lecce
Weiss(81)

Europa League Group A
Inter 3 vs. 1 Brondby
Pazzini(32, 53), Lucio(81)

Juventus 0 vs. 3 Inter
Mirallas(30), Forlan(60, 78)

Game of the month
AC Milan 1 vs. 3 Inter

Normally I would go for the Juventus game as I scored three and kept a clean sheet but the way we came back against Milan with three goals in ten minutes picks itself as game of the month.

Inter drop first points under Conroy but unbeaten run goes on

Inter Milan have dropped their first points under Conroy after a 1-1 draw away to league leaders Bologna. New signing Nelson Oliveira scored on his debut but was sent off later on in the half and gave his team a mountain to climb. Inter are also through to the semi finals of the Italian Cup after an emphatic 5-0 win over Frosinone and a narrow 2-1 win over Lazio. THey will play rivals AC Milan in the semi finals over two legs but with the way the dispatched of them in the league, Inter will be favourites to go through. Next month Inter will play the first leg of that semi final plus the two legs in the Europa League against AS Nancy Lorraine. Inter fans will be hoping Conroy can help them progress through both tournaments.

January

Again a pretty good month for us really. One of my new signings Nelson Oliveira scored on his debut but after getting sent off shortly after I need to wait a couple of games to use him in the league again. The Italian Cup 1st round threw up something interesting, my centre back Walter Samuel scored four goals in that game. Three from corners and one penalty when he was on his hat-trick. He is now top scorer in the competition, even after the quarter final game!

Yes you read that correctly, a centre back scored four goals in one game :p

Inter continue fighting on three fronts as they progress through the rounds

Conroy is proving himself to be a bit of a cup specialist, with Inter Milan through to the 2nd Knockout round of the Europa League and have one foot in the final of the Italian Cup after a 1-1 draw away to AC Milan. The way Inter dealt with Milan in the league the rest of Italy were expecting a more comfortable result for the Nerazzurri but AC fought hard. The Europa League knockout round was a much easier win for Inter. After a 2-1 away win with two spectacular free-kicks, one from Wijnaldum and one from Sneijder, they demolished AS Nancy Lorraine 5-1 at the San Siro. Ex Inter manager Roberto Mancini was asked about how he thinks Conroy rates among Inter managers "Well it's too early to say at the moment, he is only a few months into the job but is handling himself very well. If he decides to stay at Inter he can establish himself as one of Inter's top managers, but as he showed at United, once he feels he's done enough he's not contented to stay. He will find himself a new challenge which involves going to another club".

Europa League 2nd Knockout Round Draw
Inter Milan vs. Bayer Leverkusen

February

Yet another good month for me and Inter, through to the 2nd Knockout round of the Europa League and a game away from the final of the Italian Cup. I think I'm going to focus my attention on the Europa League as it's not going to be too often that I'll take charge of a team that qualifies for it whereas I can try again at the league and the Italian Cup next season. The draw for the Europa League is pretty good, Bayer Leverkusen are a good team but I reckon we can beat them. Lots too look forward next month!

Parma 1 vs. 2 Inter
Weiss(22), Mirallas(90+1)

Inter 2 vs. 1 Genoa
Pazzini(45), OG(83)

Lazio 0 vs. 1 Inter
Pazzini(55)

Inter 2 vs. 0 Cesena

Europa League 1st Knockout Round 2nd Leg
Inter 5 vs. 1 AS Nancy Lorraine
Pazzini(17, 45+1, 68), Weiss(20), OG(63)
(Inter win 7-1 on aggregate)

Game of the month
Inter 5 vs. 1 AS Nancy Lorraine

It would have been the first leg of this tie as the two free-kicks to win it for us were great goals but the way we demolished them at home has to be the game of the month.

Inter march on to Italian Cup final

Inter Milan have continued their great run in the cups this season with another successful month. Midway through the month, Inter booked their place in the quarter final of the Europa League with a 2-1 win on aggregate over Bayer Leverkusen. After a 0-0 draw at the San Siro, Inter had it all to do in the 2nd leg but they did it brilliantly by coming back from behind. Not only did Inter get through the Europa League this month, they also progressed to the final of the Italian Cup after a 0-0 draw with AC Milan. It's difficult to see how they can use away goals when both teams use the same stadium but Inter won't be complaining as the 'away' goal they got in the first leg was enough to see them through.

Europa League Quarter Final Draw
Sporting Lisbon vs. Inter Milan

March

Another good month for cup games and a surprising amount of 0-0 draws, two of them coming at home as well. The Europa League has given me another pretty good draw as Sporting Lisbon are a team I need to be beating if I'm going to win the tournament. THe Italian Cup has given me the league leaders Juventus in the final who got an easy route to it, having to play some Serie B side while I played Milan. The league isn't getting lots of attention comapred to the cups but results have been going my way apart from the occasional draw and I'm only a point behind Juventus now, with them still to play late in April.

Chievo 0 vs. 0 Inter

Inter 3 vs. 0 Empoli
Pazzini(26), Kara(37), OG(63)

Europa League 2nd Knockout Round 1st Leg
Inter 0 vs. 0 Bayer Leverkusen

Europa League 2nd Knockout Round 2nd Leg
Bayer Leverkusen 1 vs. 2 Inter
Sneijder(60), Oliveira(64)
(Inter win 2-1 on aggregate)

Inter 1 vs. 0 Udinese
OG(14)

Italian Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg
Inter 0 vs. 0 AC Milan
(Inter Milan win on away goals after the score was 1-1)

Atlanta 1 vs. 2 Inter
Weiss(48), Oliveira(84)

Game of the month
Bayer Leverkusen 1 vs. 2 Inter

Needing to get at least a draw, we did well to come back from a goal down away from home to get the win.

Screenshots of the match results would be nice, I'm not saying you are but how do we know whether you have actually achieved these results?

I would do but that would take up a lot of space on the screen, if you want I can do screenshots of my fixture list at the end of the season?

Inter fire themselves closer to Europa League Final

Inter Milan have put one foot in the final of the Europa League with an emphatic 3-0 win over Bayern Munich. Before they could play Bayern they faced Sporting Lisbon who can be a tough opponent. They drew 1-1 in the first leg but dominated them in the second leg winning 3-0. The Bayern Munich board will be looking closely at how Conroy and his team perform against them as their current manager will be leaving at the end of the season, and Conroy is one of the favourites to take over. The Inter fans have said "We really hope Conroy stays on at the end of the season. He has achieved so much already, leading the league going into the final month, being in the final of the Italian Cup and nearly in the final of the Europa League. He should stay and see what he can achieve with the Inter team he has put in place". Winning everything this season could be a double-edged sword for Inter fans. If they do win all trophies available then obviously the fans will be ecstatic but Conroy may feel he has done everything already and could move on. We shall soon see...

Europa League Semi Final Draw
Inter Milan vs. Bayern Munich

April
A fantastic month for us. Great wins in the league against Milan and Juventus put us top of the pile with four games to go. An emphatic 3-0 win over Bayern Munich has near enough booked our place in the final and a 3-0 win for Villareal in their semi final means that we are probably playing them. Our home form in the Europa League has beem what's put is through in most cases with big wins against teams there enough to see us through. Next month is a huge month where I could end up with three trophies, or none.

Europa League Quarter Final 1st Leg
Sporting Lisbon 1 vs. 1 Inter
Strootman(82)

Inter 2 vs. 0 Sampdoria
Kucka(27), Pazzini(84)

Europa League Quarter Final 2nd Leg
Inter 3 vs. 0 Sporting Lisbon
Oliveira(11, 16), Pazzini(54)
(Inter win 4-1 on aggregate)

Roma 0 vs. 2 Inter
Oliveira(29), Pazzini(70)

Inter 1 vs. 0 AC Milan
Forlan(81)

Lecce 0 vs. 1 Inter
Canales(53)

Europa League Semi Final 1st Leg
Inter 3 vs. 0 Bayer Munich
Oliveira(36), Pazzini(70), OG(78)

Inter 2 vs. 1 Juventus
Lucio(7), Pazzini(82)

Game of the month
Inter 3 vs. 0 Bayern Munich

I was expecting a much more difficult game but we completely dominated them from start to finish and deserve the win.

Maybe post the league table every month?

I'm going to start that next season but I've already played through the updates I've posted so I couldn't post monthly updates. But like I said next season I'll have monthly league updates :)

This looks amazing so far :) have you thought about taking on a fairly low level team like Evian in the French league for you next team?

Cheers mate :) And no I haven't but it's something I might do later on in the save :)

Inter complete spectacular treble!

Conroy and Inter have rounded off an incredible season, even by his standards. The month started with Inter booking their place in the final of the Europa League after a 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Next came the Italian Cup final against Juventus. After going 1-0 down Inter hit back but Maicon ws sent off after 64 minutes. Even with a man disadvantage, Inter kept battling and forced the game to extra time, where Kucka scored a screamer in of the post from 25 yards in the 120th minute to win the game for Inter. The game after was against Bologna where a win for Inter would see them win the league after being 9th when Conroy took over. Two goals in the second half was enough give Inter the win and another Serie A title. To round off an incredible month Inter faced Villareal in the Europa League final. After both teams wasted chances, Ranocchia scored his first goal of the season from a free-kick to win the Europa League for Inter Milan. The fans were absolutely delighted with how the season has turned out but Jordan was unavailable to comment after being asked whether he was planning to move to Bayern Munich.

May

I think that's the best month I've had in my career so far. Winning the treble (albeit with a minor european trophy) is going to be a tough season to beat wherever I go. We were in danger of missing out on the Europa League final as we just got the result we wanted against Bayern, though I said if i got a goal then that would be enough to see me through. Winning the league was a tremendous achievement after the position we were in when I took over. The Italian Cup against Juventus wasn't bad either and that last minute winner was possibly the best way to win a cup. Maicon swept most of the Serie A awards winning just about everything possible! I keep getting linked with the Bayern job but I'm not sure whether or not to take it. I'll put up a poll and I'll see what you think I should do. See you next season :)

Why don't you post the league table for your season now??

Right, I can't figure out how to create a poll on here so I'll just ask you now, do you think I should stay at Inter or go to Bayern?
(also if anyone can help me regarding setting up a poll that would be great :p)
