Yossi Benayoun seals Chelsea switch

pretty happy with this signing he has possibly been liverpools 3rd or 4th best player in the last 2 years. good luck yossi i hope we can fill your near empty trophy capnet up lol.

Roy must not feel happy about losing one of our best wingers, and he won't be seeing any of that money
he knew what he was getting into to be fair, he cant have any complaints. this is how its going to be for him. players going, with little money being seen for funds

Last 3 months of 08/09 season, he was not only our best player, but could have honestly rivaled the very best. Other than that, 09/10 he didn't really look bothered, 07/08 he done alright, but a lot were uncdonvinced by him, and thought he was too light weight.

Doubt overall he was 3rd or 4th best player, though

**** ME, Stop giving links. XD

It's confirmed, Yossi Benayoun is a Chelsea player.

There's no chance that Roy Hodgson would have agreed to becoming manager if he didn't know this deal was going through.

Bad business for both teams IMO, like Frankie already said, Joe Cole is at least on a par with Yossi if not better so for them to spend money on him and not show any intention of even trying to keep Joe Cole is odd, and of course Liverpool are weakening their squad and strengthening a rivals squad.

Not sure at all about this signing, lets hope Ancelloti can get the best out off him

Good signing. Very underrated player, never got the credit he deserved thanks to Rafa. He was the most creative player in the Liverpool, good dribbler, still spent most of the time on bench.

good signing he has been a great player at liverpool and lets hope he does well at the champions

Not at all, he was our main left winger, but injuries kept him out, not Benitez. Some would argue he got the best out of Benny, not a very 'fought over' signing at the time, and he done well. Also, he probably wasn't the most creative player

£5.5m is decent considering he's 30 now.

Very happy, good replacement for Cole, and very cheap too :D Should go straight into the first team, right wing.
